I guess the Honda and the motorcycle are are taken, is that baby stroller in the corner available?

No replacement - it will be a couple years (is my guess) before I can

Ed, that would suck. Life without a Porsche sucks!

I saw a Panamera Turbo in the showroom yesterday.
I looked for a few minutes.

The pictures didnt give me a sense of size. its it really big and long. Sits high and is very luxurious inside. The price was WAY over what a GT3 costs ? That was not at all what I was expecting.. ($153k)

Overall, I was impressed, but it is not something I would ever own so I didnt even sit in it.

BTW - Huge front calipers and rotors!

Worth a look if you get a chance. The lines reminded me of an RX8 though

I saw one as well, must be a "launch" car the dealers are getting because the one I saw was 153K as well. Was it Blue?
It is big, I did sit in it and it was pretty awesome on the inside despite that fact that there was no third pedal.

It's not ugly but it ain't pretty. That said, I'm sure it would be a nice car to haul the wife, kid and dog around in.

I think I would be MUCH happier with the black 997.2 GT-3 that was next to it

Yea it was a wierd blue color - with a set of wires coming out the front goint to a little black box plugged into the wall

a 2010 GT3 sold to a guy I see at the indy shop (dont really like him, but know him a little) That thing is un-freakin-real ! - I didnt know the 2010's were out? but it had a big ole' 2010GT3 Euro style front plate. White in color - amazing looking.

No, I've never done any racing either, just when kids egg me on on the highway I'll give them a little spurt of speed and sound then back off.

I saw a Panamera Turbo in the showroom too, and it had the same damn wires coming out to charge the battery...I wonder what's going on with that. Yes it is very big, but also has very elegant lines and looks a lot better in person, though my wife says the front end looks too much like a corvette (from a low viewpoint up front I absolutely agree, it is a corvette).

I've been meaning to get over to my dealer to take a look. I've had the feeling for a while that it would be way bigger than I'd like. Pity, as it's a great car for the target segment.

I was at the luxury car dealer on Saturday to check out the Porsche parts department and as I was stuffing my 2 boys in the back of the 911 and my wife slid in to the front seat this older woman walking in to the Maserati dealer gave me a condescending look so I told her this was the family car and the sports car was at home.

Thus I have "NTPRTCL" license plate is on order. I don't want people to think that I really think this is practical transportation for 4! The 4 of us cram in to the 911 all the time to go places. My wife isn't uncomfortable and the boys just love being in the 911 no matter how cramped they are.

My guess is the "condescending look" was more of a "want and lust look" for your hot @ss driving around the main squeeze plus the proof of your relationship in your hot car !!

She wanted you man !
