Honestly pretty terrible how emotional and insulting this thread is. Newcomer, outside looking in: Here’s a guy developing products for a 20 year old platform and despite some known and unknown successes getting attacked left and right. Just makes me shake my head at how self-deprecating this behavior is to every 996 owner out there.

hoping that the nerves remain strong and Porschetech3 continues putting his best foot forward, despite all the behaviorally challenged internet trolls.

I just came back for a confirmation from @Tr4ckD4ys , I never considered myself a troll but I sure felt as his comment was directed at me, so just looking for a clarification then I will be on my merry way.

There is a big difference between asking questions as opposed to demanding answers, all accompanied by gobs of perfectly displayed documentation, that fits one's preconceived paradigm...Just my humble opinion.

Have to admit I don't understand when asking for clarification and details, on what has otherwise been very interesting, although partial data, became "trolling".
It's more data than most other commercial products, and providing any of it should really be commended. But only partial data does beget more legitimate questions.
To be a bit melodramatic, the world has advanced technically and scientifically by asking, answering, and defending, with rigorous data, much harder questions then any asked here.
However Porschetech3 and any other vendor, will decide for themselves how far they are willing to engage, and how much data evidence they want to provide to market their product.
That will be enough for some and not for others. It doesn't mean that those who are looking for a stronger case are trolls.

Cheers to everyone.

Yall are getting all "un-technical" again..

Zbomb :: Should Porsche have not released the m96/m97 engines untill they proved to you and showed "data" that satisfied you ?

Has Avid shown you "data" on thier dry sump that you have purchased? Or any comparison to other dry sumps availible?

On a track such as Road America??

HoustonTx ;; You have no interest in buying a UIDS, a UAOS, or a IMSS or anything similar You are a denier of the problems..

Have you asked such questions of Porsche themselves?

How about any other Sump Supplier?

Are you just happy with the stock sump???

Have you asked any other supplier if there data was, shifted? inverted? Timing off? logging error??

Yes, Trolls who have no real interest in the product !!

Just like the Crow Native American Indians, they judged their greatness by the greatness of their enemies........and you don't care who you **** off because you have to skin in it....

And I doubt you will answer all the above questions....

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Nothing is as powerfully dependable on the street and track as a K24 swap.

I retreat my behaviorally challenged comment. Making this comment was just as behaviorally challenged as the folks it was targeting. Apologies! I was just disappointed to see all the heated and not always rationally driven debate. I’m new to the platform and community and it just seemed so off beat that people fight so much in here.

my point is just: data or no data, it’s good for the community that there are people developing tech. No matter if you support the product or not. You’d rather want a vibrant community of folks putting their time into these cars than not have that community at all.

that being said, my comment was aimed at a generic camp of opinion on here not just a single person, but again, it was a stupid comment in light of the fact that everybody “fighting” on here is actually putting their time into this platform.

Skip - I'm not selling anything.

You are.

I have not made any claims.

You have.

Lastly, all of the data I have collected has been made public or is available to be made public, you have even used some of it yourself - you're welcome.

I'm sorry you have taken such offense of my questions, I really am. Like I said, I don't plan on asking you for any, anything going forward and wish you the best of luck. If you want to see my data, I plan to continue to send it to Paul for him to analyze so that hopefully, people find value in it, even if the choices I make do not achieve the intended result - I'm a big believer in the opportunity to learn from failure and am happy to give people a picture of what doesn't work for me if thats the way the cookie crumbles...

Good luck man.
