They're perforated metal screens for the oil inlets. They're only blue because used a dye to be able to see my scribe marks.

I am patiently waiting.

My car is currently going in for paint, then coming out in March and we're doing coilovers. Do you think this will be done in the spring so I can have the car track ready for summer?

Oh man art indeed! I have an oil change creeping up and it would be awesome to get this in at the same time. It looks like you're running rubber or silicone gasket to seat this to the sump, eliminating the need for a sealing silicone?

Also, forgot if this was mentioned, but will the stock or an X51 baffle be leveraged with this? Patiently awaiting the day ordering opens!

I am not sure if I want to order two, one to place on the car and the other hung in the Porsche garage.
Skip, will there be a preferred fastening sequence?

Most definitely will be done by Spring ...unless I don't wake up one morning...

Yes, the O-ring is a Buna-N material that is impervious to oil. No more spending precious time scraping and cleaning off dried Silicone Sealer.

No Baffles are needed when sitting still, and when moving the oil is free to move in the direction of G-force, and the Port placement and Control Valve will switch to where the OIL IS..

Yes, will look nice in a Dark Maple Wood mounting on the wall ..lol

No Super special sequence, just start all bolts and run up snug to finger-tight, then turn 1/4 turns in a clock-wise rotation until the O-ring seats, then torque to 7.5 ft/lbs...

It won't be near as long as it has been, thank y'all for being semi-patient

Default 996 swirl pots or 997 oil tubes

Skip, would the 996 pots be preferable 997 oil return tubes using UIDS?

@Tience Thanks for the question. The UIDS will use the 997 oil return tubes.

Man, Skip this looks so clean and robust that it should be given a Porsche specific part number. Thanks for doing this. I wouldn’t even consider tracking my car before, but this will likely get me in the game at some point.

This has the same or similar external profile as the stock plate, right? Meaning same ground clearance? Being quite low, I never really saw a deep sump oil pan as a viable option for my car on the street.
