Prices Keep Drifting Up

This surprised me, and gooding apparently. They were estimating $40k-$60k.. instead we got a new high-water-mark for 996C4S.
re: GT7
I'm loving it. Even on a PS4 as I don't have a PS5. The racing is an evolution of GT sport, but the new single player, tuning, and customization options are big improvements. I recommend it for sure.. PSN name is pulpoinspace

Racing sims are still WAY cheaper than tracking my 996, although I still enjoy hitting a real track every now and again.

Im looking for folks like me to race with in groups. That will be the most fun, not to be the fastest, but to have fun with folks in a group.
And finally, in keeping with the thread’s topic, I cannot tell if this car has a clean carfax or not, but it certainly could be a garage queen. A 2002 manual cab with 20,000 miles listed for $40k: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/8...ff=share_other

So far, GT7 is going to take a lot of time to get to a class A driver rating. It’s not easy and there seem to be a lot of people competing. In GT Sport, I was 3-4 seconds off the fastest qualifying lap times, which put me in the top 3,000 fastest drivers for that race. GT7 is even harder.

Is it unusual for a dealer to auction a car like this, though?

Probably will sit in someone's garage-museum and not get driven.
I wonder why the seller (second owner) even bothered putting the Ohlins Road & Track suspension on it as well as the other work? From the CarFax the seller did all this work and never drove it. Hope the new owner introduces themselves on the GT3 forum.
