Squiggly Lines -Я- Us!
It was a long haul at the factory, but the new laser is ramping well, yields are improving through the ramp, all squiggly lines go up to the right, executives are happy, it's all good! Got back on Thanksgiving, ate a pile of food and hibernated for 3 days. Lot's of house projects to catch up on and charts to figure out...

Totally agree on braking. Need a switch for the safety voice in your head. Get it right and you win, get it wrong and you're rebuilding the machine. A little different that picking the wrong line, just burning time then.

The changes to the machine are cool. 1:17 comin' up!

As far as on track sensations that come close to what you may be able to feel on the street, brakes are by far the biggest departure. If you ever had to use the brakes to what they’re capable of on the street, you’d be too worried about replacing your undies than thinking, “man my brakes are really powerful”. You’d also hopefully be thankful you didn’t hurt yourself or whatever caused you to jump on the binders so hard.

And on track, you do it over and over again… still blows my mind.

What if it was an SE-R though ?

Seriously though, living is being pinned against the harness as you scrub off 90 MPH as quickly as you dare to do... I miss it already. Can't wait til spring my man.

Man - I would be happy with both. I feel as though I am trying reasonably hard to shed weight, I know the cage is going to dump a lot back in. The roll bar that came out probably weighed 35, maybe 40 LBS so maybe +100 or so with the cage... really just throwing numbers as at the moment, I have no idea.

It will come out in the wash at the end and we'll see... still some stuff to show you guys. The doors will likely provide the biggest drop, I bet they saved 80 LBS.

Been a long time coming. Needed the flexibility to go further and get the car home if.... If you troll facebook marketplace and low ball enough people with fierce tenacity, things will go your way. It's an old trailer that was owned by a local hot-rod guy. New everything, nice winch setup... He gave it a pretty nice restoration, should work out pretty well.

I spent a lot of time on FB looking but was not patient enough. That seems like the perfect budget hauler. Lookout WG, NJMP, VIR?

It will be nice to be able to go wherever, I really wanted to do Mid O, the others you listed are also big ones. Just going to have to see how it shakes out but the flexibility is so big... I'll probably still drive it to Thompson but will be nice to put it on the trailer for Palmer or LRP.

Day 1 million on wiring stuff, pretty much wrapped up and the car is ready to go the cage guy. Looking like that will happen next week (finally). I've got a bunch of logistic stuff to take care of when the car goes, cage guy needs roof (at painter) for a couple days, painter guy wants doors (cage guy needs too) so it will be nice to get this stuff going so I can get through the other side.

Have some parts coming, here's a hint...

And here's how the wiring is going to cage guy. Once it's back, I'll figure out the exact placement of everything so I only have to do it once.

I still see that 20lb bar in there .

Add Pitt Race to the list too. Im deff going back to Watkins Glenn next year and might be able to be talked into Mid-O.

Oh… you mean the “Dejeeper” bar. Yeah, it’s still there. I know how much you like it.

So....yeah, I have this CF hood coming, obviously it has no badge on it. I'm thinking "hey, the factory cup cars and RS models came with a sticker crest from the factory, that would be cool" - So, I go looking to see where I can get it and found them.

Anyone want to care to guess what the crest sticker goes for ?

So... I guess I can buy about a hundred Porsche crest stickers to see which one I like or go badge-less...

Better daylight pic of my trailer... The SOB stiffed me on the ramps and is ghosting me on FB... He's local though so he has not heard the last of me.
