You got me. I just realized my mistake and edited it. DOH!

Just watched the Wild Bunch yesterday. That's a pretty good movie.

Greg? Are you confusing the Wild Bunch with the Brady Bunch?

Oh, man. They're coming from all over to pile-on.

Gary and I have traded notes about westerns. Two unrelated comments in the last post.

How's that 911 engine model coming? I would expect you to have it running by now.

I love that movie. Just watched Man From Laramie, Destry Rides Again and True Grit this week. Dang I love me a good western. I understood you though.

I was doing some work on the car last week and my wife was watching TV with the dogs (they also love westerns) and I walked past saw Richard Widmark and said "Oh, Cheyenne Autumn, great movie." She couldn't believe I knew the movie by just the single image I saw. How could I not!

Where's your messiah now? Wait, What?

Yes, it's done. I'm not sure what the noise that it makes is supposed be though.

Wow! That is really cool. Is there a sound chip to make it sound as though it's revving?

That seems to be the major complaint with this kit. I was thinking about getting one a year ago and finding a way to silence the motor/drive sounds.
Still, must have been fun to build...and you did it so much faster than Scott has been going with his motor

I'm going to try to find something better than the current sound which is an engine turning over with a really weak battery.
(BTW, I added a little footage at the end that shows the valve train)

Yeah, well, that's because he didn't need a lefthanded M5 threaded rod...

That really is nice. I used to build a lot of scale models, when I had free time. Now all of my free time seems to be occupied by 1:1 scale cars. My basement is full of half started models. And my kids gave me a bunch of Lego Porsche kits last Christmas. Guess how far I am on those?

Only three days for this delivery of hardware. It's been two weeks since I ordered the threaded rod. I've got two exhaust gaskets, spark plugs and a heat exchanger coming from FCP. A bunch of stuff from Sunset, Pelican, Amazon and ECS. Should be able to move forward soon.

I was looking out the widow and saw two turkeys rolling in the dirt on our track. I couldn't get close to them with my camera. But I did scare up a couple of deer.

The horses, that stay out at night, had no interest whatsoever.

The weather is finally turning for the better around here. I've spent a lot of the last couple of days messing in the yard and garden. Still have a long way to go. Probably even more than I have to go on the engine.

Just when I thought I was in for the night. The ladies went out for a quick ride before the sun goes down. Here's a horse walking my wife...

Then poor Sundae giving me that look; "won't you please let me in"? She scares easily at the sound of gun shots. We seem to have a lot of shooters around here.
