Looks good. Did you have to add a degree of neg camber to the front and rear?

I gotta agree. I put a new one on about 5 years ago because I was teaching my daughter how to drive a stick with the 996. She struggled with the clutch w/o the helper. But I prefer it w/o.

If you want some assist that's less than the regular clutch power spring, you can use the 996 Turbo spring. It's MUCH lighter than the stock spring. 996-423-081-50

Default Vacuum, interior detailed put it up

Just vacuumed both the F150 and the car. I carefully detailed the interior. Going to Vegas tomorrow, best case scenario I drive it again next Monday. Before anyone says anything about the car cover, that’s a custom cover from my 85 BMW M635CSI, shark, longer wider car, I just hate throwing anything that may work.

Vacuuming both of them.

I did interior detailed and put up till next Monday. That’s a BMW M6 cover.

Thanks guys for the feedback and the parts number suggestion

I have to install the rennline throttle pedal hinge soon. Will fool around with the clutch assist then

Mine is a bit squeaky and the clutch is stiff (in a good way) I love it as is. Drove my dad's 986 and the clutch felt like a Corolla. Too light for my liking.

If I understood you correctly I have half a mind to remove the helper altogether.
Correct. In my ownership it has always been much stiffer than any of my other MT's. Quite manageable, but stiff. Good feel on release. And it never changed. The only reason I put the new spring in was because of the non-functioning cruise control. Yes, it is now similar to an old Corrolla I had.

If yours is already stiff, taking it out may be moot. Mine was not exerting any force on the pedal at all. It was along for the ride.

Hi,
Where did you source the "euro light weight buckets"?
Thank you.

I’ve never seen power height sport seats, but it looks like the sport seat plug only has the blue seat belt plug. And you have 5 pins on the left, vs 3 on the original seat. what does your harness from the car look like?

Gotta do my shifter it feels sloppy. Well after the snow over the weekend the warm weather has melted it all, pulled the Porsche out to put the front end back together from trying to hunt down the second mouse that had taken up residence in it. Figured out that there was a bag of bird feed in a cabinet right next to my car, a nice mouse-sized hole chewed into it. So they were getting food from there and sheltering in my car. I found evidence that Red Boi was still in there and cleaned it all up and decided to go for a drive since it's been a few weeks and figured since it was warming up he might have left. Get back from my drive and put the car in the garage and what do I see? Red Boi, dead in the driveway, I either ran him over on the way out or the way back in. RIP.

I had my oil changed this past Saturday on both the 996 and 997.2 and found evidence of mice building a nest on the cabin air filter of the 996. They didn't seem to like the 997 for some reason, probably because its a PDK.

Went to the paint shop to check on my Carrera. Car is disassembled and getting all the bodywork and stuff done this week, then paint on the weekend! So, hopefully in a week, the car is a different colour!

Also paid half the bill. Oy vey.

Playing around with my CNC machine and decided to see if I could make Porsche emblems to replace the original ones that fell off my wheel caps awhile ago. I had replaced them with cheap ones but have never really been happy with them. This looks promising. I need to use thinner aluminum though. This was 1/8 inch and is a bit too thick for my taste. The photo doesn't really do it justice. It's very shiny. Now I'm trying to figure out where else I "need" to put these.
