One of my last ones which I printed in PLA till I got it right, then sent the file to china to have it printed in 6000 series aluminium. Cost was very reasonable at the time with lots of companies offering online instant quoting.
I have a background in design & engineering so that helps

I did this:
I broke my left SPL drop link in a tight right hand turn.
I heard it break!
So I ordered a new set of Tarett drop links.
The red will match my new 2-piece lower control arm inners from Tarett.

Dyed the soft top. It’s original to the car from what I can tell. It functions well but shows its age and the gray had turned more of a gray-brown. I figured I didn’t have much to lose and used a black dye and I’m very happy with the result.

That’s pretty serious and dangerous I’m curious as to why
I spent a huge amount the past month post-purchase (up to 80% of purchase price) but half of it were due to critical service updates and unexpected problems (IMS/RMS leak, struts leak, overheated clutch/flywheel).The car now has a KW V3 kit/drop links/lower control arms, new clutch/flywheel, new tires, refinished wheels, paint correction/ceramic coating and interior detail, dent removals, new rocker panels, and other minor repairs.I plan to upgrade the exhaust system, add PCCM+, and a shifter upgrade but I'll delay these for now after the unplanned huge initial ownership cost.

Fixed my frunk switch. Wouldn't work because a mouse (quite a while ago) had chewed partially through a wire and it finally gave out.
Went ahead and spliced in a connector and now everything works as it should. Also, while I pulled all the front trim out, I did a little cleaning and made sure you couldn't tell a mouse have ever been there.

Took a gamble on special ordering (no returns) a modern Turbonite frunk emblem. I got it because it matches the grey, silver, black theme of my Seal Grey 996 C4S.
To anyone looking to do this, know that modern Porsches have a recess in the hood/frunk for the emblem. So, if you use the modern plastic/rubber back to the emblem, it will sit up high with a pronounced lip all around. The 996 rubber part will fit if you hold it in place as you tighten it. This provides sort of a ramp up to the badge as opposed to a right-angle lip.
