Jean,
great info!! (slightly faster 60-130 than my "chipped 996TT" which was 10.96)
Is the RS yours?

All the best!

Woodster, I don't think I am ready to go N/A despite the spanking it might give me on the track. Belongs to a friend and we will be doing a comprehensive test drive and datalogging day this coming friday for a major UK magazine, I already have more info about the handling on these cars than any published magazine todate .

The graphs don't appear to start from 60mph or 100kph - is this the "wonkey" Race Logic software or are the times slightly out.
BTW thanks for keeping this going, they are very fast

Tb....this my guess...and only a guess about the graphs starting above the 100k and 60mph marks..This GPS engine is a 10 mhz or a 10 times per sec update rate. I have seen in the faster cars only the start line not matching with the beginning hash mark. I think the gps engine is taking time and distance at Time= 0 and if the speed was 59.95 miles per hour when it updated then it will have travelled a good distance when T=+.1sec and speed is 63mph... Here are the run logs and you can see in about .1 sec the car has covered 3m and 4kmh and 8.5ft and 3 mph... the same speed interval the graph is off...hope this helps...The times are most assuredly "not out".Kevin

Yeah.....I see what you mean, so it is the wonkey software. I don't like it, the AX22 doesn't seem to have these glitches, its like on the DB when you try to move the red lines around the run to establish a to-from graph the lines never seem to settle exactly where you put them
Somehow the DB feels "Mickey Mouse" compared to the AX22 although as you know my back to back tests conclude otherwise for straight acceleration
Sub 5 sec 100-200kph with two proper gearchanges is just on another level

Per Toby... "with two proper gearchanges"

Does one wonder the abuse that one has to inflict on the cable operated gear box to see those times?? No clutch and lets RAM the gears into place!! I can hear the syncro screaming up in the NW.. The dog teeth definitely have a nice wear pattern in them now...

You cant have it both ways...it works or it doesnt...The software is clearly lacking ,but I guess I would rather have a unit that isnt so susceptible to leveling issues as opposed to better software... What is the advantage to having better software to graph suspect data? I 'll take the Pbox any day... Kevin

Mate......the Driftbox lives on my dashboard and I enjoy doing impromptu runs in "performance mode" and reading the times straight off.......
Doesn't mean I can't chew the fat about its' issues

Toby, I nominate you to go over to Racelogic and give em hell. Ask them to help your Wonkey software. That's funny!!

Didn't you say the AX 22 was clunky?? Driftbox is Mickey Mouse?

Kevin,
we only have one run and it was not all that good. 1.9 60ft. 10.42 @ 142+mph.
we broke the After market axle on the second try.... and that was after apprx. 7 burnouts mixed with launch techniques...
it will be fixed by next saturday... Ill be in Tulsa next saturday finishing what I started. We pulled a 1.59 60ft and one 1.6 I believe.
I went inn expecting either a axle or tranny to go... I was prepared for that.
We had 1 hour seat time in the car... and ran almost an apparent US record... others have 4 years in development and are tuners on top of that... I spent my own money without any agenda other then to say I did it.
BTW, my racelogic box was dead on with my 1/4 time...
here is the link to the axle popping....
