60-130 MPH: New performance measurement!
#1096
Good times Mark, I did not expect any less, and with a legitimate 2 shifts run. I am surprised at the grip, no wheelspin. Was this at the drag strip?
KPG yes I am impressed, good improvement
Can you please try to get these lines in the right place.
Thanks

Jean,
Yes, that was pulled form a drag strip... we did 1 shift 60 to 126.3 mph( topped out 3rd) in 4.4 sec.
Ill be installing taller tires and the rev will be bumped 200 more for the run ...
going back to the strip next weekend...

MOD500 paid a visit today having just picked his freshly valeted beast up from the workshop.
We wanted to try a 60-130 run so he brimmed the fuel tank and we stuck it on the scales
Thats 3380lbs and adding the two of us put the test weight at 1708kg/3765lbs and 11DegC/52DegF
So running heavy MOD did the business and even with a crappy 0.8s first gear change managed a respectable 9.51s run - without a passenger and with decent changes there is at least half a second to come off this number IMO
Some memento pics

Am very happy with the 9.5 sec run, to get 9 or under sans passenger and with slicker shifting would be awesome Thanks alot TB
Post testing I had the treat of having a drive in TB's car, and can confirm it is completely bonkers and the fastest thing I have ever driven

Congrats Mark, you didn't even have lightning fast shifts. Check out that flat Long G curve across the gears, your high Rev limiter paid its dues, it's a nuclear setup! I wish you had done it on an AX22 we could have dissecated it. I would think this is the record for a street legal Porsche anywhere unless I am mistaken. And no gearless cr@p, not even one, but two gear changes . A taller tire alone would drop you by 1/2 second, but then it would not be comparable to other numbers and magazines, keep it this way. Outstanding.
