I wonder if the 996 had this much fanfare when production came to an end on it?

993 was last of the Air Cooled…. 996 water cooler ….. doubt it.

there’s a reason why Porsche messed with the 911 headlights shape only for 1 series. It’s called the 996.

yea that pic is epic we need posters of it. Jerry owns it of course. The black tip is more of a stunt I think and last us spec 993 or something. My 98 c2s has same month/year production date as that tip.

Now if there were a few head shots of a few 993 rennlist regulars... Then it would be poster worthy!!!

My '98 C4S has a production date of 9/15/97...when were the last ones produced?

my 98 C4S is 7/18/1997. I also owned two C2S one was 12/15/1997 and the other 10/30/1997

December 97 I think is as late as it gets for US spec cars.
