As the higher mileage black on red with a damage report fetched $135k before $5k fee to BAT, your asking seems a bit low.
On an equivalent basis, yours is a $150k-$160k car.

very, VERY nice!! that should bring top dollar being in that condition and stock config. the stock, original cars will always bring the top money.
honestly, you might bring more than $139k if you opted for BaT. that car would get tons of attention and the 993WB hype on BaT is at a high point right now.

I agree but let’s not forget the black C2S had a very rare interior and options list. Your standard silver on black car with the same mileage/condition would not fetch as much.

The black/red was definitely a special spec with the interior color, carbon, full leather, hardbacks and RSD. The photography was incredible as well.

It also seems that the NA WB 993 values are up quite a lot vs the turbos.

I think part of that is because 15 years ago a 911 with over 400hp was a big deal as was turbocharging. Now every Carrera off the shelf has that much power and can easily be tuned to have more. If you want a non-turbo 993 you've already accepted that most modern cars today are faster and you're not in it for the 0-60 times. You want the experience and in that regard a n/a 993 can give you some of the same analog experience as a 993TT with a couple hundred fewer pounds.

Don't buy it. A C2S weighs 3,050lbs. C4S weighs 3,200 lbs. Turbo plumbing adds 100lbs more than a C4S. So a C4S with a full tank and passenger weighs more than a turbo with only a driver and half tank of fuel but a turbo has 125 more hp and gobs more torque.

Agreed. Anybody can go fast 0-60 in a straight line..... it’s the driving experience / car feedback that counts not just speed in a straight line. HP is overrated.

I don't have OCD but looking at the pics of that car in the garage obviously I do.

I have a video if anyone is interested. It's not in a garage like that now. I think that was his track garage.

I am really starting to grasp the logic of this lately.

My 993 turbo conversion is pushing 600hp. It’s kinda too much! I go out for drives and can’t ever really use the power. When I can it’s really to much for the chassis. Even with all the suspension goodies it’s a handful! Very exciting but not very useful.

I got exposed to the concept of momentum cars on track with a spec Miata. There’s something really exciting about timing passes or late braking someone that a big power car could never duplicate.

Lately I’ve been making runs to the Mendocino Coast in my Mazda6. It’s on one of the best roads imaginable (think sears points with beautiful scenery). I get held up by slower traffic all the time because of the twisties. I still manage to get by pretty much anything with my lowly 180hp. Takes planning and good race craft to make it happen. I imagine a 250hp 993 would be just as exciting.

Someday I’ll be forced to return my car to stock for resale reasons. I look forward to that day just because of where my heads at lately. I bet it will still be a hoot.
