My door pockets are the same non-hifi model as yours. I am definitely
"in" when you are ready to go to production and have a US mailing address. Thanks.

If I can get a partner I may be able to help out HiFi folks who want a finished look also.

Holy crap! That's terrible!! That's the worst I've seen!

It should be able to hold all that together and provide a stable place to screw to the door.

Oh man that's really bad. Gmorat's plates plus JB Weld and paint would make it even better, but only if you are willing to invest some time......

When I take off all the screws holding on the pocket to remove it, there are 2 different types.

1. Is a conical back headed screw used around the perimeter of the pocket.
2, A flat back headed screw which for me was in the position at the extreme end of the pocket, nearest the seatbelt mount.

I think that positioning is wrong and probably got switched around by accident. The flat back head should be at the mounting point at the handle. I think this is what caused a lot of the issues on mine. That conical screw really puts too much pressure on that area. The flat screw and a washer would be even better. Now i just need to identify that screw and then source washers to fit it.

There are 6 screws around the bottom circumference of the pocket kinda hidden under carpet. There's one at the back nearest the seatback and the one troublemaker in the pocket by the handle where all the broken plastic is

Took a look at mine (non-hifi) and definitely starting to crack. I'm in for a set.

My passenger side is better than my divers side as it just has one long crack from the top, through the screw hole and then most of the distance to the bottom. That side is wider than the drivers side as its spread about 2mm or so and needs to be sorted.

I'll start taking orders soon as I finalize the design and finish. I may supply the screws and washers as well so people don't use those awful wedge-shaped screws and crack these inserts also.

So eight screws total, or six? They must be hidden, as I can't see them. Now that I know i'll search tonight.
