I had a small problem with those 2 points. Easy to notice and easy to fix:
when refilling the power steering fluid, be sure the level is right. If it goes down after a while, you'll hear a strange "rakling" noise while turning hard left. This is the pump running dry. Just refill.
With the hydraulic system, if it's not correctly bled, your clutch pedal will go straight to the bottom and stay there. Just pull it back into position and bleed the system again.
well, where you live I think you still have a few week of excellent driving conditions to enjoy the job done!
Have a nice week end

Ready for re-entry :)
I got the engine and engine compartment ready for re-entry. I kept the RS motor mounts and installed them tonight. Very straight forward install. They actually look pretty good installed.
Here what she looks like.
I expect to re-enter the atmosphere somewhere around 1000 MST.
Any last words are welcome.

Looking good, and looking forward to the fire up day. I'm looking forward to the day I replace my clutch, and will use all the Rennlist info to make it a success.
I don't know if you mentioned it, but I know you've thought of it... so I gotta ask, why no RS pulley?

Hey Bob,
Great job and great photos. These pics will really be useful when I do mine.
Question: I have a pretty decent tool collection with a full set of hazet/stahlwille allen drivers and a good torque wrench. Are there any other specialty tools I'll need for the job besides 8 and 10mm triple square drivers?
TIA,
Joe

How clean!!! Why not take a day off and use it as a BBQ table
Good luck with the "reentry". The hardest part is done anyway. Just take it easy...but I have no doubt on that.

I plan to do a "lessons learned" and debrief on the whole process. I can add a section on tools required.
Most of the work was performed following DIYs and the the Porsche shop manual. Surprisingly, I found the diys to me more help. I think the shop manuals are supported with real life training.
I did want to mention that I ran across a few errors (albeit minor) in the diys that I hope I can remember and document. When you are in the heat of battle, even little minor things can upset your mojo
