    Hi Cocobet!
Sorry for that long delay in answering your pm. My box was full and I didn'd receive anything anymore. Problem solved.
Happy new year to you too!!! I hope 2014 will bring lots of twisty roads under your tires!
About chip tuning, no I never did it. ... mostly because I never received a clear answer from specialists.
Then I turn towards Manthey Racing. They could make a remap of the ECU using a rolling road and their knowledge about Porsches. This is where I stay now. On the other end, my car has 150.000km and I'm thinking of may be wait for 200.000 then send the engine to Manthey for a "rebuild" with a remap... but then it wil probably depends on $$$$! Since Porsche recently bough 51% of their company, I do not expect he prices to go down :-(
Then as you say, the first condition would be to keep the original ECU as a safety, and run on another one.
    Best regards

    Hi Toga,
    Merry Christmas.......and happy new year.
I chime in to ask if you ever chipped ypur car.
While searching,I found your post where you asked info about it.
I was wondering if you ever did,the cost and final result.
I would like to keep my DME untouched and buy a new-one to swap.
    cheers
