I saw the results of a recent survey showing 49% of current EV owners regret their selection and will not buy another. EVs are just not viable currently in a widespread sense regardless of how loudly the zealots pound their fists or how much subsidy the government throws at them.
The 992.2 is an ICE/electric hybrid. Not an EV…

I did my duty in calling out the bull**** from the video. So now what should I talk about? The 992.2 is heavier. That's literally its only sin. People need to get over the other stuff

Even under the context of EV vs. ICE i was attempting to make an analogy, not a strawman.

We are all just internet guys that post on an internet forum. We think our opinion is important.
The real data will be available in +/- three years with the new Porsche sales and the trade-in values of used 2024 Porsche 911's (and the later Porsche 718 models--The Cayman and Boxster) will be known.
The current profit margin is huge ($25,000 on each vehicle) so almost $30,000 on each vehicle in 3 years. The cost of ownership with an extra motor (over the current engine) will be much more.
