I'm paying 10k ADM from the same dealership and this was their 'I have some very good news, you're getting a deal on your GTS. We just sold our last one one for 25k over.' All whilst I'm trying to tell them I'll need to speak to you about delivery because I'll be away for 2 weeks when the car gets delivered. The whole experience with this SA has been terrible, but they're getting me what I want, so I'm going to have to take it!

I would try to negotiate some of the ADM into prepaid maintenances or services instead of a straight mark up. But unfortunately if you don’t pay it someone else eventually will

I'm going to try convert it into ppf or extra warranty stuff. Unfortunately, I'm in NorCal, so service won't make a difference.

What dealer is it if you don't mind me asking? Indigo group(SF & Marin) do not have ADM's but they do add stuff like PPF so you get stuff that you would be paying for eventually anyways. But I think the VIP list may be long for those dealers

Its a SoCal dealership. Of the ones in SF, apart from Redwood City, others were MSRP with PPF and ceramic coating through them at delivery, but nobody had an allocation available. I was reached out for a few GTSs over the last 6 months that were already built, at MSRP, but were PDK and no aerokit. 7MT with aerokit were non negotiables for me.

Numbers up to over 130 new 992’s within 100 miles from my zip. The few I called were available but they still indicated ADM but with softer language (prepaid maint, maybe 5k, or ???)

The fact that dealers charge different amounts of ADM and are willing to negotiate and beat each other (for customers who are willing to negotiate and play the dealers off of each other) shows that there is no monopoly going on among the dealers (which is what was originally suggested in this thread).

Anyways, I wonder if demand for 992.2 might be less (all digital tech and don’t electrify my 911 crowd?) and/or higher MSRPs might catch up so ADMs really do drop and go away… time will tell.

I do have a southeast store with a 992.1 Carrera 4S Cab allocation available that they'll sell for MSRP.

Yes, I’ve reached out to dealers all over the map regarding various models, new and used (low miles), with specs and prices I could live with and 100% of them have ADMs (pricing over MSRP for used). I started out wanting a GTS or TT but even new S are carrying ADMs. It’s great that so many people are doing well enough to buy these cars and at a premium. Speaks volumes about our economy and folks living well.

Prepaid maintenance is not the same as an ADM. ADM = additional dealer markup. Making you buy add-ons is at least getting something for your money.

If you are talking about new cars there are not 130 available for sale in the entire country, most are cars that are customer ordered. One way to be sure a car is actually available is if there are dealer pictures on there vs the stock Porsche photos.
