ya i just purchased a 911T from porsche south orlando. they started at $20k ADM, which i thought was insane on a T. i ended up paying $5k ADM but was able to negotiate a bit more for my trade in. i know porsche west palm beach also charges ADM while porsche west broward does not. so definitely many dealers in florida charge ADM on non-GT cars

My insurance costs (of all types) went up 30% this year alone. The 3.5% official inflation numbers are a fantasy, its a lie to force reduction of interest rates.

IMHO the worst part about market changes, primarily discussed here as ADM and new price increases, isn’t the impact on new 911s. For me it’s the impact on the older stuff I would love to experience. The current value and trajectory of 997 GT2, 997 GT3RS, 993 turbo is impressive.

I'm in the North East and wanted to trade my 2024 Base with 1000 miles towards a 2024 S, numbers where run and agreeable to me. At the last minute Dealer springs on me "due to interest" there is now a $20k ADM.

Let’s stop the talk and hope the porsche will ramp 911 production because they’re now public or Covid drove this supply demand imbalance.
This 911 supply imbalance is exactly what leadership at porsche are paid to create.
The 911 is Porsches “tip of the spear” of now a line up of models under the luxury brand porsche. But the 911 role in the portfolio is to drive and lift the entire Porsche brand as a super luxury brand.
Amazing margins per unit but 911 is not the model that porsche leans in to drive its revenue and profit… rather 911 is managed as THE asset driving Porsche desire and as a luxury label.
So they rightfully (for the brand) tightly hyper control 911 supply to assure price and desire (and more so within the line ie: GTs)
Think Hermes and Louis Vuitton who will throttled down supply and even destroy hand bags to tightly manage demand exceeding supply.
The more demand and paying premium for 911s the more people desire ALL Porsche labeled models

I'm sure i could have got it for sticker, i was commenting that they will charge ADM if they think they can get away with it. I have observed that there are some luxury buyers who simply don't try to negotiate, so in that instance the dealer just ends up with more profit.

And when the 718EV sees weak demand, they will have to make even more 911s to make corporate profit and sales targets.

We are car guys here who know many other automotive enthusiasts. How many of us know sig. numbers of guys chomping at the bit for an EV Sports Car. I know none.
Why didn't they do a non plug in hybrid 718 like GM has done with the E-Ray. That model is a strong performer and selling extremely well.
