I called my local dealer re a Carrera T and they are asking 10% ADM but are taking offers with a 5% ADM offer on the table. My pockets don't go deep enough for this game

Emailed my dealer yesterday and despite be #2 on the list for a base 911, he said they have only gotten 1 allocation so far for the year base wise. Also he said It very well could still be a year from today before I have they have a car and really have no idea of when and how many cars they will get. SA seems honest as it pretty much matches what this forum says. My concern is since I have a order demand v070 since 12/22, if I still don't have and allocation and it switches to a 992.2 will I have to repeat this all over again and create another order demand since that model technically isn't made anymore and restart the wait??

Hello to everyone - long time lurker, first time posting.

I have had many cars over the years (usually M cars or Alpinas) and just now getting into Porsche. I've wanted to jump in for sometime but dealer pricing post covid has kept me on the sidelines . . . I just struggle swallowing the dealer admin fees. I started to pull the trigger on a pts Targa early last year but was blindsided when the dealer wanted $50K over msrp. I now have an opportunity for an allocation on a 24 turbo s cab with a $20k admin fee. Just curious what the group thinks of this offer and if it is standard / "cost to play" in the current market conditions. Thanks in advance for any feedback -

I paid a $15K ADM in Oct of last year for my 911s model, received the car in exactly four months time, Had I not paid the ADM somebody else would have and I would still be waiting two price increases later....Glad I did it and have been driving my new car for six months now instead of still waiting. I know demographics are different everywhere, but here in Florida no dealers have new 911's available on their floor. Even if they did, it would not be exactly as I ordered mine that was just for me, and that is a important factor to me on a $150K car.... I think $20K is probably about average on a "ordered to spec" Turbo S right now.

GTS allocations seem to be $15-30k ADM. Targas are likely in that range but could be down in the $10-15k range if you find the right dealer. $20k ADM for a Turbo S doesn't seem unreasonable, but the $50k on the Targa certainly does.

I would say you may be having an issue with not having a prior relationship. But you are also likely getting torched by those dealers a bit. Calling around a bit more may get you closer to MSRP. My guess is that I could call 3-4 dealers and get in a fairly short line for a C2S, Carrera T, or GTS with $5-15k ADM. Another thing that could go in your favor is going into dealers in person. Someone who isn't just a phone call, and is willing to place a deposit on the spot will demonstrate they are a serious buyer. Make sure if you do you walk out with a contract indicating what the terms are.

Default Euro delivery

Just got a call for an allocation after two years.
SA offered me a GTS at MSRP (SA said MSRP but obviously not) with Euro Delivery, says the dealer gets charged an additional 5k for ED and would have to pass that on to me on top of the ED configurator charge, first I've heard that one.
Declined as I already paid a higher ADM back in March for a GTS allocation.🤪
Porsche Tacoma made the offer FYI

I was just offered a Targa 4S and Targa GTS allocation - $15k ADM doesn't seem too bad? they said it needs to be sold to someone in CA.

still, i want a Dakar. if anyone has a lead for one, let me know!!

The S used to be the bread and butter coupe - but these days you can't get an S it seems.

Same! Man I’m getting sick of this game with Porsche dealer allocation lotteries, ADMs etc… really takes the fun out of the purchase. Hopefully when my T arrives in Q4 I’ll be done for awhile.

My SA told me they can't get any S allocations. Once the GTS came out, the S became more scarce, and it go worse when the T launched. Late 992.1 product cycle seems to skew the production mix to the newer variants.

Came for an S. Had to settle for a TTS. S’s are impossible to find.

I was fortunate to get an April S allocation. According to my dealer it was the only 2023 S/4S allocation they received.
