Might have to bite the bullet and go Paint to Sample, but that's $11,430, which sucks. In any case, I figure I can get the car, drive it for a couple of years and sell it without too much loss, which isn't bad at all. Now I have to decide whether to do Euro Delivery on it, which would be fun.
Its interesting that you just got a call since this "quarter's" allocations were released in early March. Do you have any additional info regarding how they obtained the allocation? This would be important for others of us waiting, particularly for a Targa 4S. Thanks!

I have no idea, as I usually don't care about their internal processes, but I can certainly ask next time I talk to them.

Well, that would be mildly disappointing, but not a show stopper for me.

When I first placed my deposit last May, I was put on "the list". Got a call a couple weeks later with an allocation.

Several posts on RL. Hence why I used the words "don't think" rather than making an absolute and unproven statement. Do you have a source for ED deliveries being scheduled for May and June or are you just continuing to live up to your screen name? That may be accurate for cars ordered in November and December but still not relevant to the OP as the situation appears to be very fluid.

I tend to agree that its dealership dependent. I trust my dealerships GM to the extent that he does have and maintains a written list (I saw it last year)... that my name is at the top of the model catagory Im looking for, my deposit is noted and my build code specified.
Now....whats happened behind the scenes over last 12 months with other people with more political connections to the dealerships owner or better customers? Who knows...Im sure some folks have slipped in but I dont really care, I can handle the wait.

I spoke with my SA this afternoon. Just like everyone else, they don't have any open allocations, but they're expecting some bonus slots soon because of new construction and exceeding sales targets. ADM for Base / S is ~$10-15k ; for Targas / GTS it's ~$15-20k ; for Turbo / Turbo S it's ~$35-40k. Their ADM is somewhat "reasonable," whatever that means in today's world.

If anyone would like to submit an order demand with him for some of these cars, you're welcome to PM me, and I'd connect. Nothing in it for me. Basically, he'd collect your info (may just ask for filled-out deposit form, but not run it until there's an allocation and you give the green light, which I think is fair) and call you when/if they get a slot. Everything these days is pretty much always pre-sold, so it helps to have the order demand / forms in.

He had a GTS slot previously available at $25k...I had a few PMs about it, but that sold quick, and I reached-out to those people about this news. One of those lucky people received a GTS slot today at $15k

Question: From what I'm reading here is that the wait is 2 years or so for 992 across all trim lines. If that is the case, do you think perhaps the last chance to get the 992.1 version will be in about 6 months given the 992.2 is expected in 2024? Thanks

Have heard some people getting ED approved, some not.. as you allude to, likely a very very fluid situation due to part shortages and production delays which obviously make scheduling a trip like that difficult for PAG

My Cayenne Turbo was ordered/locked in Feb, built in March and scheduled for June for what it's worth. I will kiss the holy ground on the Porscheplatz if it goes through after 2 ED cancellations for me in the past 2 years due to covid

From my understanding and what my SA told me, PTS for MY 2022 is done... for MY 2023, I can neither confirm nor deny

I'm going to be thankful if I just get my car complete with an electric steering column and 2 sets of keys...

Default On the list finally!

Finally on the list for a 911 S and Gts.
Was advised 1 year ish for the S and 1.5-2 for Gts.
Totally fine waiting as I am currently taking delivery on my GR86 lol..

Current have a 2018 C4S and a 2018 718 Gts. Maybe when the time comes, I’ll be building out a 992.2 instead?

A few months ago, I think a post like this would have illicited some snarks.... "Im on a list!!"...who isn't on here? and what does that really mean?
I was talking to my SM Friday and he said their no longer taking names or deposits because its to much hassle to handle all the update inquiries, complaining and fact the PNA keeps moving the slotting calendar on them to the point they have zero idea how to forecast.

When a dealer that sells ultra-high-end luxury vehicles stops taking the names of people ready to spend $150,000.00+ on a car, it is time for that dealer to do something else. This craziness will end and that list will become valuable and useful over time.

The dealer will regret its laziness.

Just shows to go US all that some dealer sales folks are honest and some are BSers.
