I have an idea guys; we all stop buying/taking deliveries of 911s for two months. This will stick dealers with cars, and we will get them below MSRP again.

With all of the guys saying a correction is coming, is here, and will see buyers drop like flys, why not just throw $50k on a SPY300p for two weeks from now and make bank?

BEARS LIKE PORSCHES TOO.

I thought pool cars were press pool cars. Low mileage cars that were used in demo days/road tests with YouTubers and such…

Two lessons I've learned to fully enjoy reading and posting on Rennlist.

1. Never tell other people how to spend their own money.

2. Treat financial advice posted on Rennlist -- be it the stock market or how to invest in the stock market -- like the horoscope, for entertainment purposes only.

They don't care about their customers.
They only want their pay-day. It's clear as a bell.

Guess what: the highest ADM I will pay is the reverse of the highest discount I ever received on a new vehicle. 10%. That is all.
That's great and you, like everyone else, get to vote with your wallet. But if a GTS with a $100K ADM sells, then it is not absurd, it is - by definition - the market clearing price. I.e. other people voting with their wallet. And just because something is listed with a $100K ADM, it doesn't mean it sells for that. you have defined the "chance6 market value" - somewhat arbitrarily I might add - at the max discount you have ever received. But that does not define the greater market. Everyone else voting with their wallet does.

update on that GTS, I found out that not only did it sell it had 3 people fighting over it. The owner (not the dealer) walked away with 100K in his pocket after giving the dealer their cut. The car was on consignment

Can you point me to the listing for this GTS?

If I can sell for $260k, I’ll just ask my buddy if I can drive his 720s that just sits.

None of this should be of any surprise to any of us. Lots of people with lots of money want these cars now, and there is no consistent way of getting them at the moment. Even if you have the money. So $100K ADM for driving out of the dealer with whatever upgraded variant of a 911, whether GTS, Targa 50, GT3, GT3T etc. should not move anyone's eyebrows in this short supply/high demand and manufacturing delayed market.

I've seen this movie in the 90's with F cars. Not a happy ending.
