What happened only happened one time: I got on the throttle a bit and it felt like the throttle blipped and hesitated for a second or two. It could've been traction control, perhaps it was an anti-knock thing, or something else?

I know the road & tire conditions were bad, and my tank is full of 93 octane from a late December fill (not that old). Anyhow, I'm not really concerned but it did seem a bit odd. I will do a datalog

^It does take a couple hours of driving for everything to recalibrate. Also - you are now super-fixed mentally on everything your car does where as in the past you may not of noticed/felt some thing that now you do because you are fixated on everything.- senses heightened

Just relax and enjoy.

The lambdas on these cars come online very quickly, and Porsches use a very active knock detection system. You'll find some really fun power and the car really wake up. Go out and drive
It's an added bonus that we have such powerful software and an easy-to-use dongle setup that allows for codes and faults to be cleared, and to datalog. You won't find these software features with other flashing utilities on the market.

I am not (at least now) interested in a tune. But I have to echo the sentiment about Scott and how M-Engineering appears to conduct themselves as a business. If i ever look for a product they sell, they will be my first choice as vendor.

^ Well, I was happy that Mitch responded to me on a Sunday. He didn't have to do that, so thanks a bunch

1 and 1/2 hour gap between patients, and did I go over records? Did I make phone calls?

Nope. Drove to where I keep the Porsche, and took it on a 40 minute test run. 50 F, but still with the older tires. Got a bit more couragous with the throttle. This car is more eager to go fast, definitely pulls harder. Sweet!

I still plan a write up in a couple of days, but I wanted to share the quick little fun run that I just had.

Will be getting my m tuner some point on Friday. Hopefully earlier in the day. How long does it take to load, run diagnostic, email the file and get something back? Headed to an event Saturday morning and would love to break everything in and have everything recalibrate as well.

Doing the initial read takes literally a few seconds. If you email the file during normal business hours, you'll probably get it back that day.

EDIT: I recommend making sure your laptop is fully charged.

Start to finish was less than an hour including back and fourth emailing and cocktails.

We've got you on our radar, we'll make sure you have a file for your car for the event

Charles, I am planning to do my first datalog this weekend.

Should I do one long drive, multiple short drives? I am planning to vary speeds, so maybe a couple of minutes of slow driving, then a wide open throttle or two, etc.

If you have any feedback on the best way to carry this out to get you guys the the most helpful info, that would be appreciated.

Datalogs are best done in 3rd gear, WOT, all the way to redline. If safe conditions allow for it

Tupper, like Charles said the best is to log in 3rd gear to redline, say from about 3k rpm or so

I have been working with Scott, he is nothing but a trooper, we basically communicate everyday, i would send him logs and he would send me revisions to make this perfect.
We are so close right now, i was going to wait till its done then make a post but here is a preview of what Scott can do with my C2S
