No takers on the free shirt yet?
These cars actually don't like a lot of timing thrown at them, although we do change it in some capacity. They do like boost, and we add up to 8psi more of boost in some cases depending on mods/octane/etc.
Here is the quote from Porsche: "Pressing the SPORT response button in the center of the switch sets the engine and
transmission to maximum responsiveness (time-controlled)."
We don't mess with the sport response button on the calibrations, as that is usually logic that is best left alone from the factory how users prefer it to be. I would suspect there are some simple table requests for only throttle response or PSE changes as well, more or less a cool marketing feature on the car that is rarely used. If someone wants to capture a datalog with M-Tuner of what's going on we'd be more than happy to take a further look, for science.

As mentioned by another user, you will need to flash the map file via your laptop. Luckily it's a very quick process and easy to do.
For the GT3 and McLaren platform, we offer live map switching in real-time via the cruise control stalk.

Are you also going to submit a data log running with sport response button pressed so we can answer the “extra boost” question? Pretty please…

So… does the stage 1 tune make the turbo whistle more prominent? Also, has anyone had the exhaust valve tuning where the valves are fully open in sport and sport plus modes and when the exhaust toggle is turned on? If so, did it make a noticeable difference compared to stock exhaust valve operation in terms of overall sound quality and volume of exhaust noise?
