Hmm, is this what you get when no fault codes are left?

Correction:

That was my error.

No faults on the ECU or TCM

The M Engineering team is working on providing me a fix. Sounds like this isn’t a big deal

I got that once and was a bad connection. Just disconnect, turn car off and on then re connect.

For me the car was off, that was the issue.

Anyhow, no faults.

I feel like I’m driving a supercar by the way. This is insane. And this is just a tuned Carrera S. Imagine how fast a tuned McLaren 720s must feel

I really can’t imagine what I’d do with a stock 720S let alone a tuned one. When a car can dip into the 9s in the 1/4 mi stock, there is nowhere on public roads where you can enjoy the car… maybe in the middle of the night on an open hwy? Then throw in RWD only and, yeah… just insane.

How do you know your hitting 25psi? If you read my older thread the factory gauge in the dash only reads out to 17psi max? I think Scott was working on a solution, but not sure if they were ever able to correct the factory dash. Thanks and sorry if I missed that in a prior thread.

I can admit my tuned 720 is a handful at WOT

But now I’m really concerned that that happened. Does this tune generate too much torque? I’m really wondering what I should do here. Has anyone else gotten this message?
So sounds like you've heard from Charles/team regarding above? Can you clarify what caused this and how this is being addressed?

I'm tempted to pull the trigger on the stage 2 tune but also a bit concerned about PDK handling the torque and looking to avoid the hassle factor of dealing with error messages and needing to update/revise the tune.

it's really not a big deal some cars need to be tuned specifically. It took 4 revisions before all my issues were ironed out. the PDK can handle the torque already.

^ I did, apparently they have seen some people get that fault code before. I was reassured that it's not an issue and they said they are going to send me a fix.

Good stuff guys! Hope everyone had a fun weekend enjoying their cars. We had awesome weather down at our South Florida office.

We have seen a small handful of cars throw a fault for trans, it's a very easy fix and not a big hassle. One of the plus points of M-Tuner is being able to easily reflash and datalog if and when needed. Other tuning solutions can leave you in the dark or take long periods of time to fix and address.

@mattchow - how the base C2 feel now after a few days? I’m getting my tuned tomorrow by the guys at @butzigear using the M-Engineering.
