I’ve been going through the highs and lows of trying to find a cpo base or s in this cutthroat 992 market. I’m extremely picky about condition and am shocked at how many of these cars have been driven so hard in such a short amount of time! 15k plus miles on a 20’ is common place and many cars have no ppf. Even with these negatives the asking price is 10-20k above original msrp. In one of my inquiries about a used s the dealer came back and asked if I would be interested in a NEW high spec base!?!! Needless to say I’ve a got a 23’ c2 being shipped in the next several weeks.

Yeah, I've had my base since Labor Day weekend and am close to 8k miles, not sure why anyone would buy this car and not want to drive it every time they go anywhere.

2. 15k miles on '20 is nothing. There is such a thing as too few miles and too little use that can lead to issues. Objects in motion tend to stay in motion.
3. I don't understand the "driven hard" concern. It's a 911. A properly driven 911 is driven hard. They're built to take it. These aren't fragile things, but do get a DME report if you're looking at a manual 911.

PPF on a used car doesn't sell me.

Take a look at some of the crowded supermarket parking lots with carts all over the lot and you will have your first clue.
