Very cool - please share how the car feels now. I spoke with Scott a few months ago - I was impressed with his experience and how long he's been tuning. Definitely the real deal. I'm waiting for it to be available to do myself without having to send in the ECU.
I sure as hell have ! You know it is akin the heresy to even mention power upgrades on your new Porsche 992 while under warrenty, here on Rennlist...
But I did it anyway.
First I installed an Akropovic Exhaust and 200 cat. The Titanium metal reduces the weight by 60 lbs. Then, with the assistance of my master mechanic at Larchmere Motors of Chagrin Falls, we checked out pretty much all available ECU flash. We decided upon the AMR ECU upgrade. It offer a quantum improvement in horsepower and torque along with improving performance. Don't forget the high flow filter.
The results are remarkable, and don't just take my word for it. I had the Genius at BMW Cleveland drive it and he was blown away, but, better the instructor at my Porsche Dealer found the change to be amazing. He and I feel the the car is now transformed into a version of the 991.2 Turbo (not turbo s)
IF you want that kick in the pants that this offers you, its so worth it.
Down side cost ! AMR specs before and after gets you close to Turbo power AMR contact Matt Forbes maintain your filter
@malibu515 on the akrapovic website, i see multiple options for the 992? what is the difference? and what does "THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT MEET EMISSION COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR STREET OR HIGHWAY USE." mean? does it mean the 992 won't pass california smog testing with one of these installed?

haven't had the chance to drive the car "aggressively" yet - too much traffic on california roads! driving normally (keeping up with traffic - 65mph-85mph), the car does not feel any different of course.
scott helped me confirm that the boost is higher with the tune - at full throttle (only briefly - so as to avoid traffic tickets :-), the car boosts to 17-18psi pretty easily.
i am going to take it for a longer drive on a less busy road today and report back in the evening.

It means that by itself, the Akropovic exhaust does not meet this standard. You must include the Cat which I did.
How does the Performance compare to the AMR ECU flash ? I see your info about horsepower and torque, which is quite similar to the AMR but no discussion about improving the performance profile of the car. horsepower and torque Performance improvements exhaust and cat 200 Dont forget to install the high flow filter
If we had a car that went speed of light. And someone says isn’t it fast enough.., at no point is that statement an attack on someone who would want it faster than that.
Famous quotes about horsepower I try and keep in my mind:
"If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower."
Mark Donohue.
"There is never enough horsepower, just not enough traction."
Carroll Shelby
EXACTLY!
I had a 650HP Z06 also and we tuned and modified it for a very sig increase in power and heard all the same crap about "it already has enough power", "nobody needs a car that fast", and a bunch of other jealous nonsense from guys who chose to be controlled with this warranty fear or were just afraid of their cars in stock config.
There are many of us who modify every car we buy and some beginning at lofty power levels. We don't need all the "logic" and judgmental BS from the peanut gallery.
Some people just can't deal with the thought that someone has more than they do in any arena and just have to knock that guy down a few pegs to stabilize their damaged egos.
