You sound very judgmental and a bit jealous. There are many 911 Turbo/S models tuned and modified making this kind of power. Nothing wrong with that, its their car, their money, and they spend it as they see fit whether you feel that a Carrera S is "already plenty fast". No sense being critical of a guy who has the ***** and the cash to configure an absolutely awesome 911.

Its called the law of diminishing returns. When I tuned my first car, a Ford Fiesta, with manifold, dual webers, cam and headers - that made sense because that added performance I could feel and use on the street. Taking a TTS that already has more than enough power that can't even be legally appreciated on the street, and then adding more power at the expense of reliability could, in all reasonableness, be called into question. It does not necessarily mean jealousy or anything negative. If tuning just for tuning's sake is what gives an owner an erection, good for him!

You may not think that a TTS "needs" tuning, fine, NOT your place to render judgment.

Not at all my friend.
It would appear that you are the one who is upset in this thread.
Its just not your place to determine how much power is enough for everyone. No one here who tunes their TTS or Carrera S or whatever needs your lecture on "diminishing returns". We all have different needs and desires, not a tough concept.
