My 996 had a short a small basic valet key (that I never used). Haven't heard of any such option or setting in the 992.

Man no such luck huh? I would never vallet my car as its a waste of money and I can park just fine out way out away from anyone, but I wish I could add hard insurance for when the car goes for service oh wel hahaha
My car had 11 miles on the clock when I did pick up in Leipzig, so likely just normal moving miles since they shipped it up there and had it in storage for 2 months.

Having just done the factory tour, I can tell you this is absolutely part of the normal operating procedure for Stuttgart. They take 1 car out of every 20 cars and do "Road testing" and "Prolonged" engine testing. They said that by pulling 1 of 20 cars and running them for about 60-80 miles, they feel confident that they are covering their bases on the batch of cars produced at the same time. The customer with 100 miles on his GT3 would have been that car that was pulled at the factory, and the tour guide said they should feel "best" about their car because the engine is fully tested and run through over 200 point inspection by the head engineer. I can understand the GT3 owner being upset, but now that I know this is the case, I don't think I'd be mad personally...

If you or anyone else got a stock bumper and decides to change to the sport bumper please let me know. I'd be interested in purchasing your stock bumper and trying to figure out paint. If you got a chalk i'd be all over it!

Didn't notice on pick up day as I was too excited but checked my photos and mine came with 16 miles on it

@Pivot Is there a valet mode like in Corvetts that you can turn on in the 911? Or an equivalent?
The better option (the one that the PEC folks weren't aware of) is in the My Porsche app. Go to Functions, then Alarms. There's one for Valet which when turned on will send you an alert if the car is being driving and is outside of a specific range of your phone and also if it exceeds a certain speed and your phone isn't with the car. It's not showing me in the app right now what the numbers are but I want to say it's 1/4 mile and over 50MPH but not positive. I've had it turned on ever since I found it - it's not perfect though - I was getting alarms from the car yesterday morning - and I was driving and had my phone with me in the car.... It reminded me of this -

@Barkat03 Did you see what I did with my signature, its a play on the T haha
T minus 4.3 seconds (that is how fast it takes to go 0-60 mph)
I was debating on which one I should use of these 3 but chose the first one.
"Its Tea Time"
Or "It's T Time" for golf

Two more weeks… I dropped off my side markers and colored wheel center caps for install during PDI.
I live in South Florida, so I’ll try to get them to throw in the all weather floormats.
Has anyone done any other minor interior “must have” mods for the 992? For example, on my Macan, I swapped out the driver’s overhead grab bar for a Volvo sunglass holder which fits perfectly. Any other tweaks like that?
