I was in the garage this morning comparing base dashboards in my 718 to my 992. The 718 definitely looks better to me (and also to a friend with a very keen eye for this stuff - he said it's because the 911's grain to larger/bigger making it look less like leather). Let's see if pics show that here. I thought I'd share for those asking about the interiors...

Question: Where is your flat tire (fix-a-flat) liquid sludge stored? Mine was just in the frunk when the car was delivered. I put it in the tool compartment, but it just lays in there, it's not snugly snapped in like on my Cayman. Am I just missing something about how to position it?

What Would Clarkson Do? Or WWCD?
While I am reading Diddly Squat, by Jeremy Clarkson — which is a delightful collection of articles about an amateur farmer, published by the same author — it came to me… WWCD about the radio-gate?
Ghetto blasters on the rear seats, fixed with a harness plugged into seatbelt buckles!
@barkat03 , what say you?

@GauchoDuck Awesome. Mine is Black/Lizard/MT. SA says historically 26-28 days out. You may be July 4th, I'll be a day later in Bend, OR! Fingers crossed no Port issues....currently there are..

I find the standard interior on my 991.2 T one of the things that made the car seem more "911" to me personally after 16 years of mostly air-cooled 911 ownership. Is this acceptable in a car at this price level circa 2023? That's most definitely up for debate in a car that has transitioned towards luxury over the years. Always remember that if you're fortunate enough to be in the position of ordering a new 911, build it to YOUR OWN wants and needs. What makes YOU happy is what matters.

Yeah - Love it @Pivot

Name one woman that wouldn’t be instantly attracted to you??

I've owned a couple previously owned Porsches over the years. One from a private sale, the other from a dealer that no longer sells Porsches. Anyone have a dealer on the East Coast they could recommend? Should I be able to get one at list or are most at ADM?

Out of interest, at what interest rate are you financing your 992T in your respective state or country?
In the UK, Porsche (VW) financial services offer 10.4% with some wizardry of residuals that reduce repayments.
However, HSBC is offering a 6.9% (car/home improvement/…) straight-up loan.

Getting on a list to order a T now might be difficult/long wait. I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard they are sold out through MY24 based on the existing demand orders. If you want one sooner ADM might be required. From personal experience, I would say stay out of Jersey, Princeton and Cherry Hill were pretty bad. I had good luck with PA dealerships.

I’m still waiting for my V5C to be updated.
It originally stated ‘automatic’ rather than manual.
Dealership told me they supplied chasis numbers to DVLA clearly stating the gearbox and the DVLA screwed them all up. ie the V5C’s for every manual are incorrect.
I think they’re b/sh!tting me and the error is theirs.
Are yours correct??

T turned 2 months and with about 420 miles on it so far.
Only issue I have is burmester rattle on passenger door. Anyone else have this issue?

Does anyone else see their wipers jump (moves up and down suddenly about an inch) occasionally? Not while in use, and with the stalk off. Been on a 100 mile trip today and happened about 3 times.
