992 Carrera T Club
5 day weekend coming up for me. I have a 2 hour 100 mile mountain twisty route planned for the drive home on Friday. Then the weekend is wide open. I saw some great advice in this thread on break-in procedures that was a bit more aggressive than the Porsche recommendation. If I could only find it…

@Radiationman I believe you're right about it being a speed alarm using the in car setting, otherwise there's no way a car can be programmed to only drive 15mph safely.
But yes, the My Porsche app has alarms. I set them up when my car was in PPF jail. It never went off 😁
Here's the break in schedule someone asked for.

Two more weeks… I dropped off my side markers and colored wheel center caps for install during PDI.
I live in South Florida, so I’ll try to get them to throw in the all weather floormats.
Has anyone done any other minor interior “must have” mods for the 992? For example, on my Macan, I swapped out the driver’s overhead grab bar for a Volvo sunglass holder which fits perfectly. Any other tweaks like that?

Another feature the T gets over the Carrera is PASM Sport Suspension - an electronically variable damping system that can lower the ride height by 10mm depending on the driving mode.
Well, his name is Crook(s), what else to expect?!

So not only did I hit the 2k today I also got my 130k pen in the mail today as well ….. what an emotional day . Now just need my plates and registration to arrive and I won’t feel like I’m driving a dealer car anymore and can get to ordering vanity plates . I’m stuck and chuckled when I saw someone mention tea time . I was thinking time4tea , then I thought TNOTAGT as I have aero but might be too complicated for non Porsche drivers . Almost wanna do rentsdo but figured that’s asking for a disgruntled tenant to have at it with my car

I'm finally picking up my T this Friday or Saturday. It's been at the dealer since the 7th but there have been a number of things that have gotten in the way of me picking it up. One of them being that I was speculating the peso might have a rebound and I might be able to reduce my loss but no dice. As some of you know, I live in Mexico and much to my chagrin, the Mexican peso is one of only two currencies that have appreciated against the US dollar. Since I put down my deposit, the US has lost about 15% and that means that the car cost me an extra $16k since my funds are in USD. Ces't la vie. I didn't pay ADM but I now know what it feels like. Anyway, yesterday I jumped on a last minute flight to Arizona to visit with my folks who have been collecting all my mod orders. I came to pack them in their car and drive them across the border and ship them to my shop in Mexico where the car will be driven straight to in order to get a number of upgrades. Of course, full PPF and ceramic, but also new wheels, upgraded tires (got Goodyears and bought Michelins), TechArt HAS kit, GT3 side skirts and more. I have other stuff for my GT3, Macan and Infiniti but about half of this stuff is for the T. And yes, after a bit of repacking, all of that fit in my parent's CRV. Pics to come soon...

The Collection, West Broward or Braman WPB? How much was the ADM if you don’t mind me asking? I hope they don’t charge you to install the center caps and swap the side markers…..the should be able to throw in the all weather mats with the ADM you paid. Me personally I focus more on the exterior mods, I’m swapping the stock plenum for IPD, and put catless bypass pipes + tune.

Delivery Day *Love this car* My 3rd and best 992
Picked up the new T today and love it. Light on its feet, terrific handling, great noises and a really good linear power band. Lots of big smiles on the way home.
