Some know the story already, but I went to 3 different Dealerships, asking for a T allocation, and one took me seriously. I am young, I am 21 and just turned on June 28th but I work in a professional setting, and in the Dealerships, I went to I always was groomed, and dressed appropriately in a button-down, dress pants, leather dress shoes, and even still Porsche Las Vegas, said they would get me an allocation, never called. Porsche Scottsdale, I went in as well, asking for an allocation, they said they would call, but never did (I had been in talks with multiple dealerships since January of last year, then again in August - December of last year.) Then finally Porsche Albuquerque took me seriously, I put my 5k down, and I get a car delivered this month. (it has been an 8-month-long wait.) But worth the hassle

When I had to wear a monkey suit all throughout my 20s when I was a consultant, I feel like I was judged less, but I was also looking at Audis and BMWs. Ever since I started working in the tech sector, my suits stopped fitting me and it’s been sweatpants and T-shirt’s most of the time. Now no one takes me seriously haha.

This all boils down to poor sales training. People who sell luxury goods ought to know not to judge. Most people who have money don't wear suits or nice clothes to go shopping. The one's who do are usually the tire kickers who don't have the means, waste time and don't buy.
I have the first in the world pictures of a Carmine red 992 T which is for sale in Rotterdam for over a month. Since they refuse to post pictures in their add I went there myself today. Looked like the GR from a distance. The car really needs to be in natural light to come through. But these pictures give a nice first impression hopefully.
I have always liked Carmine Red, but I feel it is not worth the premium over Guards Red.

In Holland they have T’s for immediate sale but they can’t sell them. In surrounding countries there a 1 year waiting list.
Why don’t they advertise these cars in surrounding countries?
If they were right hand drive I would be tempted!

To me, I didn't see the price difference between non PTS colors to be significant. GR is great but is/was just common like most silver/grey (look at 80s porsches). Venture off that path a bit and you find some more rare colors like Carmine. If it seems 'like' GR, but is slightly different (seems to have more depth), then it might actually be worth that extra cost. I seriously considered Carmine and still love it...
I have been really busy on the weekends with home projects and driving my simulation rig for the offline Porsche Competition in Atlanta, Driving the 2016 GT3RS on Lagina Seca, my time currently is 1:35.20 as an average, and the fastest I have gotten is 1:34.30, So I am hoping to do well in the competition.
I might see you in Atlanta on 7/28, then! Don't forget that Round 1 of the Gran Turismo 7 online qualifiers starts today. I did a 1:32.xxx at Laguna Seca in a 991.1 GT3RS (2016); no idea if that's good enough. I'm like 30 seconds off from the best time at Circuit de la Sarthe in the 917K. 🙄
sort of? Tax season is officially from January to April 15 (16-18( depending on how the calendar year falls. But tax season officially ends on October 15 when extensions are due, Then its year-end from there, so It is busy always, I just try and message, before, after, and on lunch from work, sometimes I get home and fall asleep though. Also, I have a bad habit of ghosting chat forums and taking forever to respond, even though I want to, sometimes there is not enough time or energy to do so hahaha, Because I love conversing with you all here,

I think the Carmine red is beautiful and worth the extra penny. My problem is that Carmine red is more of a luxury chique color. It doesn’t suit a sporty car like the T. So to me a Carmine red on a Turbo or Targa would be brilliant. But not on a T or GT product.
