Gentian interior color bits are a good idea I think. I agree yellow ones would be a bad idea, and I think a number of colors do not work on the interior trim... Gentian will look good. I'd do the seatback centers too...
Blue belts will be good, but I think you might enjoy a little dual color action with yellow or red.... To be honest, reading your messages I am getting a pretty clear vibe that you also have already landed on Gentian as the color and now just need to figure out the "right way" to color match/compliment the interior.
At the end of the day, go with what really makes you happy.. dont worry about what others think "works" or doesnt work and just think, When I sit in the car, what colors will put a smile on my face. If I was getting a gentian car again, for me it would be blue and yellow all day. But thats me, not you... do you
My salesman thought that the lizard green carrera T package would look amazing with the Gentian blue. Has anyone speced the car that way? I think anytime that you can add this interior package that is unique to the T it really adds to the uniqueness of this model. Of course this interior package doesn't work well with all colors but it maybe a nice way to have an outside that is understated but the inside gives you a little bling without drawing too much attention.
I kinda liked the personalized one with pics (not just because mine was one of the pics, but that helped). If you use this one, make sure the "Carrera T" is very prominent so it's clear, this is for T's (and I guess T fans as well).
I will be coming from Columbus, Ohio which is a solid 8.5 hours drive. It would be fun if a few of us could drive over together or meet up along the way. Also, since its such long drive I would love to drive out early in the morning the night before and meet up for dinner and maybe a parking lot hang out at a hotel or someones house. Looks like we are going to be driving in the morning on Sunday? I know that his is in the formative stages but would love to hear from anyone driving a bit farther like myself on what you would like to do. I am getting very excited!

Anyone of you Canadians still waiting for your car from the Neptune Koper? Arrived at port in Halifax on 4/28 and left enroute to dealer 5/2 (confirmed by SA). Crickets since then.Guessing held up at the main rail transfer port in Toronto..Ughhhhh...running out of things to keep my mind pre-occupied! Any insight appreciated. Gotta be here soon!
Mine was on Neptune Koper and arrived at dealership 5/15 fwiw. Have taken delivery since then hence the absence from this thread!
Asked my SA about the umbrella (he reached into his drawer and gave me one) but he said back in the day (996/997 era) they were tailored for specific models and fit much better. I didn’t believe him at first but if you don’t cram it in, the door actually doesn’t close properly.
First “mod” since taking delivery yesterday. Black leather. Many more real mods to come! @toph4242 I think it was you like 7000 posts ago considering this to avoid fingerprints, so I’m not taking credit for this idea!
I’ve got 3-yr old and 7-yr old passengers. Was excited to get the Maxi Cosi Rodifix in there for my 7-yr old given all the great reviews on RL and I’m quite happy with how the base fits and the width of it, but only setback is the height. The booster has at least another 6” or so in height extension, but any more than what I’ve done hits the C pillar / roof.
I bought 2 of these as they’re discontinued as of Dec/2022 and the new one doesn’t fit the 992. There’s still inventory available for ppl in need of boosters.
BTW, I should be getting my sub-box added soon. My plan is to add that first. Hopefully, it’s enough. But if not, maybe upgrade some speakers. I really don’t want to spend more than a 1k usd. Will let u know how it goes…

Everything I put up on the wall (lots more to the left out of shot) means something… for example the decklid with the ghost flames on the back wall is off my very first VW Beetle; I plan to make it into a custom light. I always wanted a clean garage with no clutter, so segmented a 2-3 metre section at the rear which houses the stuff that can never be tidy, along with being the room for boiler, inverter, underfloor heating stuff! Out of sight out of mind!

Nice - I got the GT Silver ‘matching external colour’ option which also avoids fingerprints around the drinks holder.
Still an issue around the gearbox and seat heater buttons sadly.

I’m waiting for the production version of this, prototype recently redesigned for air flow, available mid-June. Tracking anxiously. I also missed the Aerokit window of availability by about 1-2 weeks 😞.
