Orange side markers is required for US and possibly all of north america. I already bought my clear side markers to replace the orange, I even asked my dealer if they could swap them for me before delivery but they told me they might not be allowed to deliver the car without the orange. Surprising to me but easy enough to change them myself.
While at Porsche Buffalo today my SA informed me there was a Chalk PDK T on the premises just waiting to get detailed. Here it is with the side decal on in spite of it being ordered without. LOL.

You’ve convinced me - just ordered the aero kit🙏
I don’t have much luck with women. I only ordered this car to pose next to to help me pick up some ladies so the kit should help.
I’m hoping to pass my driving test in a few months which fingers crossed should help make me even more attractive 👍👍
That is unbelievable, imagine you select an option that cost money and they don’t include it but still charge you for it (not the case on the side decal I know)

I am everything but delighted. Since this is my first new Porsche it was a shame I could not do this. That is the main reason I chose GR because the only color I would never order red or yellow callipers with is GR. I personally love the red or yellow calipers and matching them to the interior. I am a big lover of exterior and interior matching. Red calipers and red seatbelts and red tacho/chrono is a dream to me. Or the same with yellow. Also the car key. Most people have the car key in the exterior color. I liked it more along with the colored details. And to me having these red/yellow details pop out most with the regular black stitching. In the Netherlands we also get yellow license plates to make it even more perfect. Here some pictures of my GT3:
One other thing: my SA said he heard the base stereo is being built by Blaupunkt, "not like it's a JC Penney kinda thing either." He said they've gotten two vehicles in recently with the base system and he said it sounded much better than he expected. One of those vehicles was driven to FL by a guy considering the Burmester option who said the stereo was very satisfactory.

You have to go third party for the part or get it from Porsche? I am wary of breaking something if I do it myself…

It is quite possibly the simplest and quickest DIY you can do. You can get the part directly from Porsche or through most parts suppliers that provide OEM Porsche parts. There are even some aftermarket options (but they won't save you much or any money). For example: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/PKCLEAR992.html
I've got mine in the car I'm driving to the dealer to trade and will give the clear reflectors to them and ask them to install. It's super easy but why not?
