I’m thinking about Deleting following. Get mine to weigh like Miata.
Delete:
- Bumpers. No bumper cover paint chips to worry about.
- Get the sunroof option but remove sunroof. Keep it open air all the time. So what if seats get a little wet in rain.
- taillights. It’s your fault if tailgating
- Wipers. Get Rain-x. Sufficient.
- 13-inch lighter wheels and tires.
- Doors. But not sure. Maybe too Flinstone mobile-ish look.
- side markers. Unnecessary.

This is really helpful insight, thank you. Does that mean CXX is theoretically possible for the T? I would have really liked a colored interior with tartan inserts on the 18 ways, but I didn’t even consider asking about CXX. It’s interesting that selection of the Exclusive Manufaktur options don’t count toward that CXX threshold. I wonder if you would have had to go with a full CXX interior (and the surely exorbitant pricing associated with it) to receive the logo on the center console.
CXX is all "In-N-Out secret menu" stuff, from what I gather. I've heard things like $5K for custom stitching on the wheel, $10K+ for full custom seats material & stitching, $1535 Race-tex sun visors with deviated cross stitching. I've attached a spreadsheet that's a few years old that I found elsewhere on RL.
Something like this interior would be completely amazing! However, CXX as a percentage of the T's price doesn't make as much sense versus an RS or Turbo S car.

Hello. My Carrera T is currently in production, As of 11 April. I get emails from Porsche when I meet the steps. How did you get photos of your car on the production line? Did Porsche simply email them to you, or did you have to do anything special? Thank you.
