Thankfully that kind of thing doesn’t happen with all dealers. Never hear of it in the UK, not sure about the rest of Europe??
Never heard of it in Italy

From what I’m reading in some USA dealers you pay that extra premium AND still have to wait 6 months

Well, he was able to spec the GTS for himself so he bought a production slot, not a showroom item.

Most ppl are convinced the steering wheel will lack the contrast stitching, but the rest is basically up in the air. Manual shift boot? Knee pads? Rear seat backs? Rear center tunnel (obv'ly only w/rear seats)? Floor mats?

PS - did you get rear seats?
I have selected rear seat. As I thought it ties up the interior beyond front seats with the rear green belts. Now is the theory to be put to test

When you option the steering wheel in race tex in comes on the shifter also. The configurator doesn't make the change in the picture it is a programming error and I can see why you wouldn't know it. If you click on the small info button it describes this.

Hello guys I contacted a SA friend who turned out to be at work today and he send me a video of the 992 T with the standard T package (so not full leather) in slate grey. Finally here are almost all the answers some of you were looking for. I made some pause video pictures for you. A bit unlucky that it’s not the lizard green version so the armrest would be more clear. It looks a bit now like the black/grey standard stitching to be honest.

@bobert75 was most right.

Seat bolsters (slate grey stitching)
Seat headrests with embroidered "911" logo (slate grey stitching)
Door panel armrests (slate grey stitching)
Center console storage compartment lid (slate grey stitching) I asked him to confirm this
Floor mats (slate grey stitching)
Steering wheel rim (not slate grey)
Door grab handles (not leather at all)
Kneepads (not leather at all)
Gear lever and gear lever boot (it was PDK but answer probably is not slate grey)
Tunnel backside (he did not film this)

I have seen pictures of the floor matt and the lettering is in green and I think the stiching on the edge of the matt is in green. I am more sure of the logo being green than the edging. In the picture above both seam to be in chalk so it would make sense.

Cool, thanks! Pretty sure it's just the lighting when it comes to the center console lid. This confirms a "no" for the knee pads and a "yes" for the floor mats. I hope we're both wrong about the manual shift boot. Hopefully the rear seatbacks and rear center tunnel have the contrast stitching to match the front seats and center console lid (I'm almost certain that is included).

No surprise but gray stitching on black isn't exactly exciting; however, I've seen other pics before and to me slight contrast (plus stripes on the seat centers) is better than none at all.

I’ve had two 991.2T with the T interior package (one red and one yellow) and the steering wheel and boot had black stitching. The armrest was contrasting the same as the doors, seats, and floormats…..I’m sure Porsche is doing the same on the 992 T package

Anyone know if you can get/fit Sport Techno Wheels on a 992? Sounds like they came in 20s only. Are there after market companies that make them in 20/21 for 992?

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/9197...eels-help.html

thanks

This thread is specific to the Carrera T. Although I bet the answer to your first question is no, you may want to inquire by starting a new thread in the 992 forum:
