There is a fantastic upgrade for the base 911 speakers by a company called Focal.
They are specifically for 992s and only 911 were made.
Just recently the price has dropped a lot at least in the UK to £3,600 ($4,500) and probably everywhere since Bose became available again.

yea that’s a bit past my definition of reasonable lol as I’m not an audio junkie by any means lol guess we will just keep windows down and listen to exhaust 😄😄
Good news from South West England.
A week after my production photos, completely missing the whole ‘it’s on a boat’ stage, our T has arrived at the OPC.
I have a VIN and a registration plate.
They are preparing it and we pick it up on March 04 exactly as promised.
I am working next week so can’t get up there to have a look at the car before delivery, but our friend Devon Racer will visit the dealer next week and has my blessing to look the car over, and if he likes, take some pictures.

Has anyone installed this as far as you know? Curious because someone else recently posted that they left the stock speakers and added an amp & DSP and it sounded great.

Really?
Those tinny speakers with a more powerful amp?
I am surprised?
Can you post up dimensions of your template or a pdf of your template so we can copy/cut/attach a grille cover too? Detail the zip tie thang too if possible, yes, I'm needy.
Sorry if it's somewhere and I couldn't find it but was there ever info on where the zip ties go or me details on the dimensions?
DasArse, No drilling into my PTS. I have given the dealer a Carbonio ‘no drill’ plate mount. https://carbonio.com/products/porsch...se-plate-mount
No adaptive cruise control so it will mount low like the white car in the link.
Hopefully it will be a secure fitting. Time will tell.
OT post but I hang out here the most, so thought I'd share....
I've put up my 7.2 GT3 for sale after I bought a 7.1RS today! ~20k mi, Clubsport, loaded with carbon inside and in mint condition. Couldn't be happier and it'll make an even better companion to my incoming T.
