I'm starting to lose my $hit here in Denver. Car was just pushed back even further, now August 11th at my dealer, originally was due to be 3/31. SA has no idea other than saying "it must be a specific option" on the car. I originally froze order in January and was notified production was complete a month ago including the final pics...and no update since then. 2 weeks ago it was moved to end of May delivery from March 31st, and as of this morning now mid-August. Which means the 2023 car I first ordered in November (V200 back then) is going to be delivered 6 months after being built...
Something smells funny about those dates. 3 months between arriving at the port until leaving?

I imagine this is incorrect... did dealer confirm this? Seems like a timeframe worthy of calling Porsche Customer Support to look into further. There is a TYD team that will take your call and look into issue directly if you dont want to wait on your dealer
It looks pretty good with (Miami) blue and yellow on the 991.2T so I’d assume the same on the 992T.
I fully agree, but I did not made it clear that I was responding to the person who stated yellow inside would be too much. I was trying to respond to that thought-process and not so much my personal opinion. If you think it’s too much than surely the exterior could be too much with those three colors. I did not specifically agree with that myself. Also note that your car doesn’t have the side decals so it’s less off.
Yes. I put some pics on the thread below and there are also pics of three cars on this thread (yellow, silver, and ruby) of which at least one was a manual.
Thanks, I've seen this thread. Maybe I'm just missing it, but I don't see any conclusive evidence in regards to the manual lever shift boot stitching with a T spec interior.
Not bad.
992 Carrera T on PZeros and manual gearbox - 1:55:7
718 Cayman GT4 on Cup2 and manual gearbox - 1:55:0
At the end of the long "straight", the GT4 was 6 km/h quicker (252 vs 246 km/h) but despite braking later, it was later at the apex (around 0.3s).
After that, using the advantage of the Cup2, it managed to go from 0.3 behind to 0.7 in front, gaining 1s on the "twistier" part of the track. I can live with that Would be interesting what kind of time a Carrera T on Cup2 can achieve (or one on the PZero but with PDK).
Also, the Cayman GTS 4.0 manual, on PZero, could only manage 1:56:9.
What happens to the "press cars"? Usually two-three are kept by the manufacturer and the rest are sold. Imagine being able to get a 992 T with the carbon light seats and the Bose sound system. Or the one in that nice shade of blue, even if does not have the light seats.

Nice one Shane - The first UK 'on the driveway' pics to emerge so far.
You beat me, I should have collected last Friday but still in PDI after 2 weeks Angry
Also congrats on having the coolest garage probably not just on this forum but probably on any.
Loving the cappuccino especially
Not sure if this helps, but I opted for Guards Red and have taken screenshots of the options from my configurator.
Is this just because I opted for stitching in contrasting colour? My money is on they will have it on all stitching options.
Thanks! Beautiful car, congrats! When selecting deviated stitching with the non T package leather interior, the shift boot will receive this treatment. Hopefully, this is the case for the T package as well.
Is anyone active tracking the VIolet Ace? If so could you post it's current position? I believe it has left a few T's in Halifax and is now on its way to Jacksonville.

Its here in this post where you can see green stitching from the T package but clearly not on the steering wheel:
See picture 4 and 5 and the final clear picture 8. If the steering wheel doesn’t have it, so won’t the manual lever shift boot. Also the Porsche configurator clearly just mentions the stitching on the steering wheel and gear lever shift boot on the deviated stitching option. Not on the T package. I agree it’s not conclusive evidence but there is not much hope left I’m afraid.

The press car seems to have it, I can't see it too clearly on the wheel but seems like...this is also the expensive package, as it has the knee pad in.

And this is the "problem" with the slate grey stitching option. Nearly indistinguishable from black thread. We'll need to see it in green to believe. I don't think you can say that is slate grey thread from that picture.
The black leather stitching is not really black but more of a dark grey. The stichting on the knee pad is way more light just like on the armrest. The manual shift boot is more dark. Also look at the door. The upper door part is the light stitching. But the second upper doorpart is the black stitching (and it doesn’t look black because it’s not). But it’s clearly also not as light as the rest which is part of the T package. It’s a shame you need to have a diploma to understand all the interior details. And where Porsche has stitching and where not. You have to study them to understand them. Most dealers also have no idea.
Just as many people don’t know the difference in all the lights. There are 4 units in total with big differences that are not mentioned in the configurator nor many dealers know of. Too bad because a lot of people would have ordered things differently would they know them. PLDS+ has a black upper part of the light and a chrome ring while standard lights have them in white without the chrome ring. The chrome ring can be seen when clicking on the image but it’s not mentioned in the configurator. The white part is seen on both but is not present on the PDLS+.
