Prior to looking at the T, I was look at the new M2. My spec costs nearly $72K! Wow that is a lot for the "entry level" M (even though I think it is the best driver's M in the lineup). And the M3/4 are pushing slightly above $100K. What times we live in...compounded by the fact that Porsche aims to be the highest margin car manufacturer.

The good news with Porsche going public is the fact that they will churn out more special editions. At this rate, a regular winged GT3 will be relatively common!

The M3/M4 is too heavy, as are the AMG cars. Porsche needs a new sports car - a permanent model, above the 911 to compete with the Roma and McLaren. They are just letting that revenue get away.

Porsche is letting current revenue getting away by not producing enough cars as it is! So many folks here are waiting for allocations lol

I would love to get these in Agatha Grey. I might have to go ‘bespoke’ to match the rest of decals.

The average 911 customer appears not to be impacted by things like "the economy". Boxster and Cayman sales tanked during the 2008-2010 recession. But people bought Cayennes and the new Panamera and of course the 997.2's.

Not sure if it's true in every state, but if you've got the back seats you're classified as a 4-seater and I am continuously told there may be benefits relative to your insurance rate. I have a Boxster right now (992 T allocation for June), and the rate isn't preposterous or anything, but who knows. I'm in Virginia.

I think 911 is already classified as a 4 seater and insurance doesn't ask or know if you got the rear seat delete or now. At least that's how it is for Geico.
My insurance for the 992 is about $90 a month with $2.5k collision/uninsured deductible, and $500k liability @ <30 years old. Amazingly cheap.

On other note...I'm glad I'm getting mine before the price hike. If they hiked it up before I locked in, then I would be more than happy to keep driving my 996 Turbo. With the extra money I'd save, it would get billet turbos, ohlin's, and RWD conversion with LSD. But alas, I have to sell my mezger as part of the down payment.

^^ That's a crap policy. Raise your Bodily Injury limits to $1M and your SUM/Uninsured limits to the same de minimis. Most of the idiots causing collisions are knuckleheads with low limit policies. At least you can proceed against your own policy after collecting the full policy of the offending driver's carrier's limits then go after your own. In NY, I have a $2M SUM policy. If WRX Ricer Boi hits me and my injuries exceed his $25K statutory limits I can get his $25 then proceed against AAA for the remaining $1,975,000 on my policy.

I just checked my coverage, holy **** it is bad. They'd only pay up to $3500 for underinsured property damage. lol

WOW! And I suppose there is nothing wrong with this?
Ahh. Who am I kidding. I'm just messing around. Personally don't care. Just thought it was kind of ironic and funny.

I'm also curious about the 4-ways and wondering if they will have enough lumbar support for longer drives. I liked the feature on the 18ways to adjust the bolsters (top and bottom) but never used it because their position was pretty much perfect.
I had 4 ways on my 23 base. They were annoying. So I decided on 18 way. Id rather have a comfortable car to drive then worry about anything else

Interesting, I went with 4-ways - what didn’t you like about them? Too late for me to change now, but good to know for the future…
