Can confirm. The torn up under-construction yet-to-be-refinished highways in Germany and Switzerland are sadly better driving than the finished highways around Seattle/Boston/New York (places I've lived the longest).
So expect much more road noise driving a T in the USA. Something that will be most apparent to those doing European Delivery.

I just love this! Was hoping to get a bit of my GT3 experience so not disappointed! The more noise the better for me!
Hello, on sport exhaust the noise is mainly coming from the engine with the beautiful flax-six sound, not even spoiled by the twin turbo (like on the S or GTS). Pops and burbles come from 4k rpm which I accidentally reached in a downshift and I assume will be louder after few thousands miles. With the exhaust on normal the noise comes mostly from the tires (Michelin) as the car is way less acoustically isolated than a base 911. It’s definitely a loud car (maybe the loudest non GT Porsche I driven) and in comparison my Golf 8R is silent like a Rolls Royce.

I think at the moment it is only limited to a few states (3 or 4) and also 2035.
Latest estimates of e-fuel cost are about $40/US Gallon. That's a lot, but honestly I would be okay with that as I mostly just drive for pleasure. Otherwise I prefer to walk or take the train/bus. Yeah. I'm that weirdo.
Economies of scale and improvement of the technology could bring that to less than $10/US Gallon and I've seen some estimates at about $8/US Gallon. Keep on pumping money into e-fuels, Porsche! And maybe find a location closer than Chile so that distribution costs aren't so crazy.

Im also curious... I really want to record my Euro Delivery trip, and I was hoping to utilize this for dashcam footage etc... but I also don't know how easily I will be able to plug into the "Pre-wired" dashcam setup... wonder if the factory will install before I leave?? Doubtful I'm sure.

I would order the dashcam from Suncoast before you depart along with a basic interior trim pry tool.

I can't speak for the rear, but based on my reading of Rennlist threads the front doesn't look too bad at all. You should be able to set it up in under 20-30 minutes. Detach the cover on the rear-view mirror and plug in the dashcam (assuming you got the dashcam prep on your build which I think I remember you doing). Then stick on the cam. The rear may be about as easy, but I haven't yet seen definitive proof.

*Anyone have any experience with the Newest GoPro cameras? I know they have a "Motorsport" setup for the cars as well and I've been thinking about investing in one for the trip... If I can confirm the dashcam is an easy setup, Ill put the cash towards that, but otherwise I might spring for the GoPro

Cool, Thanks. Yes, I did get the wire prep in my build and thought I also read the same. It would be awesome if I could get them to do it for me before I leave since I likely won't be able to bring any tools with me (assuming there will be some tools/trim removal pieces required to get the mirror apart, but maybe its easier than I am thinking.
