Wow, I had no idea. I just went and looked at the configurator and you are absolutely correct. I knew they had python green stitching, but I did not know that they had the python green seat belt webbing. It's pretty clear to me now that they had no intention of people using lizard green stitching and seat belts with the python green exterior. That sucks... Why not offer a Python green package instead of lizard green? Sigh...

Why should I spend the extra 6k for leather? I’m considering it. I like leather but it looks the same as Porsches vinyl

One of the reasons to get leather over the standard offering is the look of the top dash pad. The standard offering is just not visually appealing to me in a car costing over 100K+

If you can live with standard dash, no need for leather. I went back and forth on it and would have definitely considered leather if there were more options than just black. I also wanted yellow seatbelts so didn't want chalk stitching.

Stitching. Particularly if it is contrast stitching. The vinyl looks acceptable, until you realize the stitching it receives on the dash, door panels and rear cards. All of a sudden you can spot it from a distance.

That is exactly the conversation I had with the dealer principle last night as they had a python green GTS in with PG stitching in the showroom! He couldn’t understand it either.

when I took the pics I actually just assumed it was LG and was going to post the pics saying I couldn’t tell the difference! 😂 I then had the discussion!

Porsche Hull, UK…. They support a college now and so were having an event night with nice food and cocktails so the students could present their racing teams and designs to try and pick up sponsors! Impressive stuff really… kids get so many cool opportunities these days it’s great! 👍🏻

If we are keeping score, so far out of 5 new T's on Porsche Finder, 1 is manual, 4 have sunroofs and none have RAS:
…what would the likely MSRP have been on those cars? As I’m in the UK I didn’t want to assume.

Clever marketing - grab them young, get them aspiring to own a 911 and when they're successful guess which car they'll buy

Haha.. I watched that movie for the first time in years the other night. Great soundtrack too.

On the 'what other cars were you considering' the answer is probably none.. but I did vaguely consider used Aston Martin DB11 and Vantage's, plus the AMG GT Mercedes. Used prices on these in the UK are similar to a new T.

I received some unclear bad news. Car should have arrived at the dealer tomorrow. Production started 17 February. SA checked everyday. Suddenly yesterday got message that my car was delayed 1 month! Both CP08 date as well as transport date one month later. But I already received the VIN number Tuesday so my car should be already build right? Could it be a transport issue or quality check issue?

Instead of showing you the first real 992 T pictures tomorrow it suddenly turned out a different story now. Although I still hope it’s just a mistake…

Any thoughts?

Hmmm - that could be bad news for all of us if it’s correct?!
I know there are production problems with Taycans because of the climate control issues which is delaying deliveries by up to 6 months, but first I’ve heard of 911 problems.
