Hello Carrera T community! This is my first post. A big thank you to all of you for sharing so much useful information. Sincerely.

I just landed an allocation for a T, will be my first Porsche. I’ve always taken driving seriously. the last 10ish years with cars that try to drive for me, so Porsche time. Thrilled to finally be here.

I have a couple of weeks until freeze. I hate the gray mirror housings, less peeved but still peeved about fewer design options, but much more so thrilled about my first P car.

Saying hi for starters, love the generous information from all of you. and plan on asking w
few questions before my lock date in 2 weeks.

Well what is even more stupid that if I would get such a mail I would immediately reply with the question asking which parts right? You would think a dealer would be interested in that too. But no, I had to pop up that question myself first, before they would ask. Will give update here. But am pretty sure it’s the mirror part. They could have just send this afterwards right?

Just to be clear: it’s not only the handles but the full back seat in leather with the contrast stitching there as well.

Just looking at pushing my UK Silverstone Porsche Experience Centre drive back to mid April as it sounds like they may have a T in the fleet by then. Will let you know when this is confirmed.

Yes they called me Tuesday to confirm they’ll have both a manual and a PDK.
Im also booked for mid April depending on when the cars arrive

What’s the weirdest option everyone chose? For me it’s the passenger cupholder in leather. $350 for a few inch strip of leather over the plastic cupholder cover on the passenger side of the dash. I ordered the full leather T interior and I just didn’t want that plastic bit to break up the long stretch of leather on the lower dash. Still, I felt dumb ordering it, especially since I only have four other options: Chalk, leather interior, RAS, and prep for roof rack.
