Never understood the vanity plate thing but seems to be popular with Porsche owners for some reason

@neurodoc123 , your build is beautiful. If I change course (from having 2, 718 cars--and trade one for a T) a white with red motorsports stipe is my build as as well.
Since you asked for commentary, think about:
Since you asked for commentary, think about:
- Adding full deviated stitching in guards red or bordeaux red to your interior.
- The exclusive design taillights (clear).

That car is beautiful, but it doesn't have the Sport Design optional side skirts. Those are the standard black ones.

Now you're making me rethink Satin Black wheels (GTS vibes) versus the T-specific Titanium Gray wheels. According to VIN Analytics, on the 991.2 T, 121 out of 939 cars got the Satin Black wheels. So maybe it's rarer? Or are T-specific wheels more "correct"? 🤔

I mean it is strange that literally every other Porsche model on the new configurator lets you option Bose except the T. When I took a look this morning I could see it as an option on every base model I checked. I don’t know why it would be kept out of the the T. Maybe the production run is ultra short? Oversight on the public facing configurator? No idea really. My good friend and I have debated this and he’s of the opinion that the Burmeister doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in a car that you’re paying more money for less sound deadening but I’m also someone who listens to a lot of music and appreciate a decent stereo system. The Burmeister is great in my Taycan, which is like a bank vault and I do really enjoy it. I recall Harry Metcalfe discussing the 80 decibel level he recorded in a base 992, which is similar to being in an airliner and thinking, bah, I’ll just skip it all and stick with base. I think the Seen Through Glass guy did a review of the base 992 after having it for like a week and went into it assuming he’d hate the base sound system but was surprised at how livable it was. Maybe they’ll just run out of parts on both Bose and Burmeister and my problem will be solved!
Apparently, it’s a safety issue. If the amp isn’t working (which seems to be the reoccurring issue), the sound system doesn’t make any sound. It becomes a safety issue when your proximity sensors or other safety related warning tones are completely void of sound.
Bose is not even an option right now on Macans. That issue is spilling over to various models that use the same amp. So, the immediate workaround is the base system or Burmeister. I’ve recently had several clients opt for the Burmeister because of this. The less expensive option for a great sound system is to order the base sound system and spend $2-3k for a lightweight aftermarket sound system. I’ve heard them! The sound better than Bose, and even rival the Burmeister for volume. The Burmeister does sound more crisp and clear than the aftermarket, but it’s not a huge difference.
Just an FYI: I do have currently have the Bose sound system in both of our Porsche’s.
