Do you see that in the app or does your dealer tell you? I just placed my order yesterday and I haven’t received any firm info on a freeze date.

Is PTS paint to sample? It is available in the configurator for the T.

Here is my build in PDF, let me know what you think, I should nickname the car Kermit.
Congrats on the allocation. That green looks so damn good. I am thinking about it but not sure I have the guts to do it.

6Sigma asked about Satin Black Wheels... I like them over the Grey on my GT Silver but cant go wrong with either way all personal preference. Here is my build I locked in today with my SA. My Freeze date is 1/23 I was told.

Which goes along with what some of us have also speculated. If you get an allocation but can't get the options you want, it might be the only chance you get!
Is that true? Why wouldn’t they just continue with the T as part of the 992.2 line?

I wouldn’t have guessed that it would look so good but for me I think it really works to have the wheels matching the stripe and then a bit of contrast from the mirrors.

I thought I had ruled out GT Silver for my build but then I was at the dealer yesterday and saw what I think was a GT Silver 992 with black wheels and thought it looked fantastic. So now I’m considering it for my build. Your build looks great my spec will be similarly a minimalist build.

I just love this color. But I have one reason for not ordering it now. I love a GT silver 911 with yellow callipers (PCCB) and yellow seatbelts and dials. In the Netherlands we also have the yellow license plates. That combination is stunning. Because PCCB is not an option I would just hate it looking at my car and not having those yellow details.

This is a very complicated decision. In the basis you can’t go wrong either way. But just like @jonbek explained it could be too much going on. The solution however is very simple. To me the Agatha grey details make this car a real T and differentiate it from the other models. So when you agree this is important you need to go for the titanium wheels. If that is not so important for you just go for the black wheels. Those black wheels match the black striping perfectly. But than I would just wrap or change the mirrors into black as well. Problem solved.

Yes. But being available in the configurator doesn’t mean you can order and get it now. Maybe in 2024 again?

One more thing @6sigma I wanted to add: depending on the light conditions the agatha grey mirrors looked pretty dark and black. So you really can’t go wrong.

See my 991.2 T:

Man I have missed this car a lot, even though I changed it for a 991.2 GT3 and after that a 992 4S (with RAS). Can’t wait to go back!

How did the red hold up for you as far as holding your interest vs getting a little tired of it after a while? I think it looks great but I wonder how it is over time. Thanks.

The way Porsche is understood to have done the T in the past has been to offer it the last year of a generation or generation refresh. They may offer it for the 992.2 line, but not initially. Maybe about 3 years after 992.2 is introduced. Then again we only have a one data point to really refer to with the 991.2 Carrera T. Anyone with any other supporting evidence can feel free to chime in (or against).

According to wiki, 991.2 base and S were shown in late September 2015, and 4/4S plus the Targas and Turbos were shown in December 2015. GTS came in January 2017, with the T in October 2017 a little after the GT3 models.

Yes that is true, it's also true that you can order a car only to find out an option you have chosen is not available after all; PTS is one such critter. If you tried ordering it (even if your SA did it for you for some stupid reason) the factory would kick it back. No PTS for the foreseeable future.
