I guess my point is that it's tough to compare apples to apples. It will never be exactly the same.

I think it's hard to compare apples to apples. I just configured an S as close as possible to the T, but I can't even seem to configure Chrono with Manual. Different rears (limited slip and PTV), Plus stuff like rear seat delete, lightweight glass.

Locked in the final build with my dealer yesterday! No more changes…build date on 3/17. Not on the build sheet but obviously 7-speed manual… And all the other T features left in like rear seat delete etc (with exception of 18-ways tried to go with all the lightweight options or at least not add back too much.) all the tech stuff has a purpose for me… but most excited about roof, rear seat delete, manual and Ruby!
Taking recommendations for how to fill my free time now that I’m not committing multiple hours a day to this damn configurator lol.
also please recognize the German VAT… I did not go that wild with options haha, an extra $25k on top for that VAT is scary to look at

and I understand its about the button for sport exhaust but I still don't get adding chrome/silver to an otherwise greyed out car

If you look closely you'll see on the S configurator the manual is listed as: 7-Speed Manual Transmission and Sport Chrono Package
Also I don't see a lot of people speccing the rear seat delete on their T's so I think that is moot. Lightweight glass on the S configurator is listed under Lights and Vision as Lightweight and Noise Insulated Glass

Some dealers will simply hold a personal check for the duration without cashing it. That being said, this will be my first Euro Delivery and my dealer only mentioned the deposit without mentioning their policy on it. I am therefore budgeting to let them borrow the cash. Ugh.

Lightweight and Noise Insulated Glass
Lightweight glass made of compound glass and acoustic film for front and rear windshields and door windows. The lightweight glass offers a weight savings of over 8 lbs and improves interior acoustics by minimizing external noises such as tire and wind noise.

I did see a 911 GTS in the showroom yesterday with the exclusive design tailpipes, and the truth is that the inner black layer is more pronounced than I expected, and the chrome wasn't that noticeable in person, so I felt a lot better about them after seeing that.

I'm in the same exact boat. European Delivery shows up on my build order status (with no estimated date). Build completion estimated at the 9th of June, but we are still waiting to properly coordinate with the European Delivery team.

Interesting about tailpipes and button. I'm on the fence. It's currently configured with it. My CGTS 4.0 is blackened. Maybe I'll have one of each. I dunno. I've spent $430 on dumber things in the past!

Here is my build. Order locks in a couple weeks so who knows, might make some changes. My goal was to build a great daily driver as that is exactly what it will be! April Delivery.

Got My Slot!
Just put down my deposit in my 1st new Porsche. I’ve always been an air cooled hippy but something about the T has struck a nerve. Anyway my freeze date is march 7 and delivery mid May.
Since they discontinued PTS my second choice color is Python.
I’m really leaning towards aero kit.

Burning Brakes
I bought a Ducati in Italy with a credit card from UK.
They subtracted 21% VAT (IT) and I had to pay 20% VAT (UK) + 15% other duties when the DHL van delivered it to my house in the UK.
