Also...2:00.000 min for a lead and follow lap is pretty respectable!
I was very unhappy with the laptime to be honest. But had an extra 90kg passenger, full 90l of gas in the front. And was saving my brakes a lot. There is the most time to be won. And a bit of traffic all the time. The last stint it started raining a bit so felt more scary to do a fastlap. It’s definitely not about the laptimes. But once there I just really wanted to go under 2 minutes and felt ashamed I didn’t manage.
Today I also had 2 hours of tracktime booked but not with Porsche. I was eager to drive, but just before it all started this happened

This is a fact. There has been more changed than Porsche admits. Friend of mine got his first Porsche. A 992 S. We went for a short drive with mine and he couldn’t believe the difference in sound especially above 6000rpm but overall in each gear and rpm. The T is more raw sounding and it’s very noticeable.
Thanks - that looks fantastic, especially with the green stitching too.
I still have the option to change. I've Shark Blue and Yellow Stitching currently, but still like Lizard. People say lizard will clash too much. Will it? Hard to say just based on pictures.
Shark blue with yellow stitching and yellow tacho/chrono and seatbelts is a killer combo. Blue with green is not impossible. They have the same range. But it’s not rich of contrast like blue and yellow which creates green when combined. So in the color spectrum both are an option but will not appeal to many people because the lack of contrast.
Cant go wrong with blue and yellow, that’s for sure. If you still want green I would change the color to IGM or GT silver or white.

Agreed… At the same time one is less likely to see another Shark Blue 992 on the road in comparison to the other three colors that Macboy mentioned. They are certainly more popular. I am just providing the other side of the table with some additional food for thought.

I’ve seen two owners post their T’s optioned with buckets on the Facebook T page. One Rubystar car in the US, the other car a black car in the UK (complete with the lizard Green T interior)Just like the 991.2 T, they’ll be quite uncommon.

This is helpful. So you think it's more about the contrast than the actual matching. That makes sense and I agree that yellow contrast is stronger.
I am in full mid life crisis and have forbidden myself from black/gray/silver/white cars for the moment being! And from that perspective I think blue, yellow and red look best on the T of the existing palette.

I don’t know? Something about GT Silver or black that look way menacing as they drive passing me on my roadways. Even down here where I live, exotics are all over the place in Naples FL. Most in very flashy colors. But when a 911 passes by in the aforementioned colors, they just look all business in a Bavarian kind of way. Even in the basic colors, there are gems for free! I went with GT Silver(no side decals) on my order 2024 992 because I plan to keep it till the wheels fall off then maybe store it away for some barn find enthusiast or I sell it to a neighbors kid that showed interest all those years bugging me for a ride? So the color had to be right. As well as the model designation of T, which I hope becomes as special as they say it is now but even more so later on. I’m 60 living my dream as well.

I've always bought black and silver Porsches. Then I bought a purple Speedster and a red Speedster and Chalk Taycan and now a Python Green Carrera T and I love them all. Especially the Green T.

I absolutely agree about GT Silver. Absolutely classic color and so smartly dressed while still being sporty. But careful saying it is at all "Bavarian" as that's BMW and Audi territory. Porsche and Mercedes are in the state of Baden-Württemberg to the west of Bavaria which has a playful (being optimistic here) rivalry. Not trying to criticize, but rather attempt to save you from a flame war from any Bavarians or Schwäbisch. I totally get what you are saying!

Don't get me wrong. They all look great and GT Silver is an amazing color. I always worry about getting bored of the color after a while. I'm taking a risk as I'm sure GT Silver wins on that front.
Drove an almost identical S at Hockenheim, after driving my T at zandvoort and to Hockenheim. The S had PDK and PDDC, extra, compared to my T.
The S sounds different, less angrier, turns lazier, almost like it doesn’t want to.
I posted a review from a French car magazine, comparing the S to the T and they came to the conclusion that Porsche, despite using the same ingredients in the S and T, they somehow made T sound, drive and feel angrier and more direct.

Need a clarification. The leather interior option has the full center section in Sport Tex (leg and back rest) or just the backrest? I don't fully trust the configurator sometimes. For instance , the stitching doesn't show up...

That I was not aware of. Thank you for the clarification. Baden-Wurttemberg it is. 👍

Gotta go with one’s heart! The 911 wears them all well and if we have a color in mind that makes it our own then it becomes even more special. Go with your first choice is my advise, it’s usually the right one.
