Two things I noticed in the 992.2.
(1) AeroKit 3rd break light is clear and NOT red (see below). I wonder if that part is available separately and if we can retrofit it into our 992.1 Aero Kit wing?
(2) Center console now has Qi charging along with cooling. Now that is pretty cool!

@Ripper T I think you will really like the GT silver thread. You probably saw photos several hundred pages back, but it looks great.

Hi all, a quick intro here. I'm 43 years old, husband and father of 4, and after what seems like a lifetime of patience and sacrifice, I finally ordered my first Porsche; of course, it's a 911 Carrera T.
This is my first post on Rennlist (though I've been a longtime lurker), and I've read all 1696 pages of this thread at least twice. A lot of you members helped me spec my car. Thank you for all the advice (many of you are pure gold to this community).
Anyways, I'm excited to be part of the club! My car is scheduled to start production on June 7th, and I can't wait to share my pics and experience with this life long dream machine that (like all of you) I've been fortunate enough and blessed to own. In the meantime, I continue to live vicariously through this thread.
Here is my build code if anyone is interested.

Can't wait for the good times to roll. God bless!

Choosing the 992.1 Carrera T was a smart move as I think we purchased one of the last core 911s with the left key, NA engine with Turbos etc. Should retain its value very well. Received mine in April and already at 4400kms!!!

I would like to follow it
in advance of arrival, a lot of discussion on aesthetics… once it arrives, it’s all smiles per mile and the drive feel… I’ve only had mine 5 months and still enjoying every daily drive!
enjoy in health and happiness!

Thanks. How noisy is the interior? Worried about some of the reviews.
I enjoy it… but coming from a 2-door Bronco, probably everything seems quieter?!! 🤪
longest drive was two hrs so far and wind was fine; it’s mostly tire roar at highway speeds I think? Maybe for an all-day highway slog it would be tiresome, but otherwise it’s been fine.

Saw it too along with the top gear overview. So funny that previous to the release many ‘experts’ claimed it would be N/A due to larger displacement rumors, the bumper and exhaust outlets. Lol. Well it did lose a turbo and it seems like the intercooler, but it’s now an e-turbo. While the 992.1 can’t claim simplicity, the 992.2 gts sure does seem complex. Best of luck to Porsche on this one. Very happy to have a 992 t in my garage pretty much exactly as configured.
But I'm serious.
If you knew what went into PTS Plus, you wouldn't laugh. It's a steal.

Another consideration is, do you think a PTS Plus color, not originating from a Porsche catalog might be a hard recoup at resale?
