Simple solution for RAS problem. Use it for free.
If you are sure you want RAS based on opinions from others and order RAS:
1. Might love it.
2. Might hate it.
If you are unsure you want RAS based on opinions from others and order RAS:
1. Might love it.
2. Might hate it.
If you don’t order RAS:
1. Might love it.
2. Cannot hate it.
The risk of getting something you might hate when ordering RAS is undeniable. But no person on earth has hated not having RAS.
Sometimes its that simple

@AJ_Judi What's ZAB Ornamental Porsche Crest ? free Never seen that on the configurator.
I would drop the RAS (see @Macboy ) and ambient lighting you will love the PDLS+ they are the best lights I have ever had on a car.
Did you ever consider the 7 speed manual as opposed to PDK, it is that feature that lights the car up and gives it it's special character?
Faster away from the lights maybe but nothing like as engaging as the 7 speed box.
Best Devon Racer.

I'm not sure, I think you could run into problems with the arm moving on it's own without power. Lots of vibration etc back there. I do recall reading about a way to disable it by disconnecting the steering angle sensor signal, but I didn't look too deeply.
Swapping out the parts seemed easy enough to me to move forward and not worry about being stuck if I *hate* it.

I don’t see how anyone would hate RAS. More like if you optioned it, and don’t see the value you may feel like you wasted $. After driving one w/o RAS, my conclusion is just makes the car feel like it has a shorter wheelbase. It doesn’t feel artificial for example like Sport Differential option on Audi’s where you feel like the *** of the car comes out under neath you when you hit the gas on turn ins. Anyway I know this has been discussed to death. If you are on the fence, skip it. Best option of course is to drive with and without and go from there.

No sport exhaust w/ PDK unless you added it nor sport chrono.
Wow! That color looks amazing! I thought it was Chalk at first. I really like this look! Congrats!

[QUOTE=member67;19382782]Finally took delivery this past Saturday and become a real member of this thread 😂. Ice Grey Metallic over T leather package, SD kit in gloss black, 7MT with a bunch of other boxes clicked. Dropped her off for PPF and Tint but can’t wait to put some real miles down!

The spyder rims have me rethinking my choice of the base T rims.

@Mr.Bourne Spyder rims are a pain to clean personally I would keep to the standard rims, unless you go for the lightweight rims (Fuch look a likes) that are even easier to clean!
Best Devon Racer.
