As Wilder said, 4 the seats are great for daily driving.
Road trips are very doable and not a problem in the 4 ways.
But you guys are right the 18-way or 14-way is better if you have back pain, problems, or anything of the sort.
Believe it or not, the new bucket seats are very comfortable once you are seated in it. Not very fun I bet for daily driving.
I prefer having the manual forward and back lever with the 4 way as it is quick and easy to move the seat out of the way to reach things in the back.
Also when someone parks too close to you, you need to scoot the seat back so you can get out haha!

I have an awful back, 3 herniated disks over the last 10 years and buckets are the way to go for me all day. I have t on order and it's with buckets for a weekend and partial daily.

Unfortunately, I have seen a few instances like this, where people's rotors get worn and cracked way too quickly.
This hurts companies that make the aftermarket rotors, as people then complain that their rotors did not hold up "like promised"
I am sure you have seen that a time or two.
And it isn't just rotors - pads can cake onto the rotors and start degrading quickly (ruining both pads and rotors). From what I've seen/experienced, lots of the aftermarket stuff is actually junk and nowhere near the quality of OE. There are some good kits. And as you said, bedding pads, heat cycling, etc is important. Some of the aftermarket stuff has pretty specific procedures which if followed yield good results. If not...

Yeah, going in more depth in your statement that some aftermarket stuff is not as good as the oem tends to be because auto manufacturers especially Porsche over build their parts and specifically brakes, as they realize that the person who is going to drive the car is someone who likes driving sporty and pretty hard. But also needs to be able to break in rain, snow, heat, cold. where as AP or Gyro Disk really just make their brakes for the track that are able to go on thr road but are not the greatest for the road. As they need to be warm to bite properly or like you said a specific uses that require specifuc procedures to get good results.

Buckets are very comfortable. The pain is getting in and out. Gets old on a daily. I got them too on my weekend car.

Buckets are extremely comfortable. You just need to learn how to get in and out.

Put one hand on the door sills and the other on the console (little storage compartment thing). Use that as a lever and lift up your *** out of the seat.

Once you get it - those are the easiest seats to get in and out and very comfortable.

wow. Is yours a ‘24? I thought mine that arrives in June might be one of the last ‘24s. Anyone know what month they usually switch to ‘25 model year?

I think it'll be a '24, but not 100% sure. We definitely configured it off Porsche's '24 configurator on the website.

Sounds like I have about a month to lock in my build. Thoughts?

Chalk, black wheels, aerokit in black, 7MT, red seat belts, lightweight buckets, Bose, smoking pkg (free cup), fire ext, interior trim in ext color

A bit bummed that you can't get red calipers, but not a big deal, I guess. Red or white tach is a thought. Not sure about the interior trim being painted in chalk, but the interior seems to need some color.

Might switch to 4way seats, but I think I'm solid on everything else. Trying to keep it an "enthusiast's" build. Just a fun, light car for the weekends with a splash of color (seatbelts) and a wing, because.... I like wing'd cars!
