@Chartreuse My 2024 year car was manufactured on the 25th October 2023 and has Life PO4 battery. I bought a Porsche C-Tek charger (unnecessary expense) just buy the C-Tek equivalent. When I don't use the car after a few days I just plug it in to keep the charge topped up. I have an adaptor connected full time which takes any stress out of the business. Highly recommended with those who have the Life PO4 lithium lightweight battery. I thought that the RAS as well as main car battery had separate lithium batteries just for the RAS which made it expensive to replace in future when they failed. One of the good reason against specifying RAS.
However I stand to be corrected?

When the 992 T was announced it was said to come standard with the lightweight LiFePO4 battery, whether spec'd with RAS or not. In fact, the 992 T was the only way to get the lightweight battery without RAS. However, it appears that cars manufactured after Oct/Nov 23 have the regular AGM battery instead of the Li battery, regardless of RAS or not. It is not clear if all cars get the regular battery, or if/when they may switch back to the Li battery, or the reason why the move to AGM (assuming supply problem, but unconfirmed).

Wow that is very weird! We were built 24 hours apart and have different batteries.
