992 Carrera T Club

To be fair, that is only based on one generation - who knows if the 992 will follow the same as 991. I think there is some chance, although unlikely, for a 992.2 T pure ICE model as the answer for the base manual ICE diehards. Or maybe there will never be another 911T. Who knows. The only fact is the people that really know aren't talking.

Pretty cool dude , def geared more towards the lower end 911’s . Real down to earth , gave me a bottle of wine for Christmas too and some chocolate from New Zealand that I absolutely inhaled and didn’t share with my pregnant wife

Interested if anyone has moved from a 718 GT4 to a 992 T and if so, what are your thoughts? None of the dealers near me are running a T as a demonstrator and so interested in any views whilst I'm trying to track one down. I did search the forum, but couldn't find this having been discussed.

In watching his videos over the years he does seem to prefer the "lower" 911s. No argument from me.......the higher up the range you go, the more compromise from the basic 911 brief of the "do anything" sports car. As a kid growing up in the 80s, the 911s that I saw were being used as everyday cars. That made the cars and their owners ultra cool to teenaged-Tim. There was even a gentleman who had an M505/slantnose 930 Cab that daily drove even through winter. Top down driving a 930 cab in North Vancouver after a light snowfall: legendary.

Both in the same spectrum.
GT4 is more track oriented.
T is more road oriented.
GT4 engine is not in the same league as the GT3 engine and gears are too tall.
T is turbo but feels NA and it's a proper 911.
